We have been customers of Precision since February of 2020. We are on their yearly maintenance plan. Precision has worked on our A/C eleven times in less than two years. As of now, it is not working properly. It has not worked properly for more than a few months since they began working on it. It is not old and was as reliable as any A/C prior to Precision. We’ve paid thousands of dollars to Precision in less than two years. We don’t prefer complaining online. Rather, we prefer to make the vendor understand that we are unhappy and work with them to rectify the problem. We tried that for over a year. They are always prompt, courteous and professional. Our A/C still doesn’t work. The latest episode is proving too much for us to remain quiet.
Last week I received their email about our twice-yearly checkup. The A/C was working fine. I scheduled the checkup as recommended. The technician arrived Thursday and completed his checkup, saying that everything looked ok. When he left, the house began to heat up. It did not cool down. The same technician came back Saturday. He told us he had mistakenly let coolant escape when he was checking the pressure. He added more coolant and left. The A/C still doesn’t cool. I called again. The new technician arrived Monday afternoon and said the compressor was frozen. He shut down the whole unit and said someone will call me to schedule a time to come out once more. He could not give me a day. So here we sit, both working from home, with no A/C at all – and this time, it was working perfectly before they touched it. Those are just the facts, with no unqualified opinion whatsoever.
