If I could give them a minus 100 star rating, I would. Their treatment DOES NOT WORK for termites. Period. In spite of their contract, they will only come back and spot treat. They will not retreat with another method that works or reimburse you for their failed service. Since the spot treatment does not work, you are out of luck. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They are very dishonest. more

We read all the great testimonials about the Therma Heat process of getting rid of bedbugs & their success. The salesman came out real quickly....with a "sophisticated" presentation & 100% guarantee. The work & payment for it went quickly too. BUT THEY TOOK NO RESPONSIBILITY afterwards for the fact that it simply didnt work. They fabricated criteria that is not in writing & refused to redo the work, hardly returned phonecalls when just days before when they wanted us to sign on, they were calling us! BEWARE THESE GUYS ARE NOT TO BE TRUSTED. Unfortunately, i later saw a bedbug blog online that recounted the same or worse experiences with them. more

I am a property manager and oversee quite a few apartment and condominium complexes. I work with a lot of vendors and contractors and Precision has always been wonderful to work with. I have used their heat system to treat a couple of my complexes for termites and have been very pleased. I have also used them for mold abatement and they have been just as wonderful. I started using Precision for a couple of reasons. I had the traditional fumigation done quite a few times in the past and the cost of moving out and putting up my tenants for 3 days was more then the treatment itself (let alone the hassle). The heat process only takes around 8hrs. from start to finish and my tenants were back in their units. With the chemical fumigation process, the crews have to cover the building and walk on the roof. That is not a problem unless you have a building with a tile roof. My last fumigation cost me quite a bit in roof repairs after they cracked some of the tiles. As far as customer service, everyone I have dealt with at the company has been great. They have been always been very willing to take a phone call or meet with my tenants to go over the preparations with them. Some of them have fears about heat damage to their personal belongings and how much of their stuff they have to move, but many commented how relieved they were that the prep was much easier then they imagined and we have had zero claims of damage to tenants items, nor have we had any damage to our buildings. The first building we used this treatment on was done in Jan. of 2006. We have yet to have a problem with reinfestation, knock on wood, in both of the buildings that we have done using the heat. I was a customer of Precision Environmental last year (2007). They purport to be an environmentally friendly company. This is not so if you are a pet or plant living the house being treated. I can assure you that their "do-gooder" propaganda is completely misrepresentative of their actual service. In this emerging market of eco-friendly alternatives, one would think as I did that these types of companies would outperform their competition in an effort to generate a good reputation, a word of moth clientele etc. Let me tell you about my experience. I hired Precision Environmental to perform a termite extermination. Their first attempt to eradicate the problem was unsuccessful. They needed to treat my house a second time to get the job done. I was assured that the plants in my house and my daughter's pet lizard would not be in any danger throughout the process. I came home to find every plant in the house completely destroyed but what's worse was the fact that my 6 year old daughter's cherished pet, a Bearded Dragon (I know... odd pet for a 6 year old girl) perished as well. Now I could forgive the fact that they needed to re-treat the house. After all, being environmentally conscious comes with some sacrifices. But the fact that they carelessly treated the living creatures in my home is deplorable to say the least. I was assured by the president of the company that some sort of compensation would be offered. After several conversations with this gentleman over several months I still have not been compensated for the death of my daughter's pet or my plants. I simple apology has not even been issued. My recommendation is that you find another company more focused on customer service. I am certain that if and when an issue of warranty emerges, Precision Environmental wont be there for me. Quite possibly with the tactics they employ of killing pets and plants and poor customer service they wont be in business long. DO NOT USE THESE GUYS!!!
