Precision Auto Repair

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. After years of paying too much to take my beloved Passat to the VW dealership (what can I say, I fell for a free car wash), I happened upon Precision Auto Repair one day while short of money and in dire need of a tune-up. Not only does Andy NEVER charge me for something he hasn't estimated without calling first, he even takes the time to teach me things I can fix myself. I have always been fiercely independent about my car repairs (within reason, which basically means I can change tires and brake pads), but now thanks to Andy I can add fuse replacement and several other helpful things to that list. He even let me tow my car to his shop when it broke down, and then refused to fix it until we found out of the repairs were covered by VW (they were). I still take my car to Precision Auto Repair even though I now live in Prospect Hts, and if you have a German car, I highly recommend you do too! Oh, and he's also just about the nicest guy ever. Precision Auto Repair is the shop for BMW. I took my 2000 528i to this place with several problems. I had 3 or 4 lights on my dashboard, Check Engine, ABS and 2 other ones that I don't know what they mean. They checked everything and gave me a detailed estimate. I didn't do everything at that time but it is nice to know what is wrong with my car. I just repair my Check Engine problem because I had to take the emission test. It turned out to be an Air Pump and was done fast with no complications. The price was very good, I know I called some other places in the area and everybody was more expensive.
