I came in for an oil change and they charged me $40.00 for it. The oil changes at the Toyota factory is cheaper and you get the same 32 check points. They were going to charge me $50.00 for tire rotations, along with additional charge to clean my battery of rust. I think when you pay $40.00 that should be more than enough for additional charges. I was initally going to go next do where they have an oil change and tire rotation for $18.99 but since they were busy, I came here. Customer service wise, it was superb. The gentlemen was very nice and professional and helpful. He called me to let me know of additional services that I may need. Very nice guy. But seriously, with all of these body shops around, you need to start charging less and have some incentives to come to the body shop. more

I am new to the area and was referred to Precision Auto Repair by a family member of mine. They were nice and cordial when I took my daughter's car there. The had to replace the timing belt and they also recommended that the water pump be replaced and the oil be changed because there may be water in it. So far, everything is working fine, according to my daughter, though it has only been a few weeks. more

I was looking on the Internet for a place to do a smog check near my office. I called Precision Auto Repair, and they were polite, friendly, and accommodating. It turned out that they could not do a smog check at that time, but I actually needed to have something looked at first anyway because my "check engine" light was on, so they told me to bring my car in. They discovered that my thermostat needed to be changed and called to tell me that they could do the work that same day. They also gave me a quote, and the actual price ended up being less than what they quoted. I appreciated their honesty and fast service. more

I took my car there because one of my sister's former co-workers was very happy with them. I took it in to get my A/C fixed and I was hearing noise when I turned. I told them everything that was going on and they said they would check it out and get back to me. When they called me back they said that the A/C needed a new ""evaluator core"" and that I needed new brakes, and that I needed new fluids (all of them) including a transmission fluid flush. The was a laundry list of things they wanted to do and the total estimate was $1500, this was for a 99 Honda Civic that was and still is in driving condition. They overcharged me on everything, for instance they wanted to charge $130 for a brake fluid flush (my b/f had just had this done for $50 on his car and showed me his receipt) and $250 for a transmission fluid flush (which isn't even necessary when I contacted the dealer and 2 other repair shops). And the dealer would have only charged $130 for this service, when I brought this up to them, they said they didn't understand why the dealer would have told me that and said that they do not negotiate prices. Since they have diagnostics test that they run it would have cost me $200 just to take me car home with no work done. So I had some of the work done which cost about $400. I would never ever recommend them and even considered filing a complaint. If you have money galore, they will do good work, but if you are looking for honest prices, look elsewhere.
