car broken down, took to an autoshop saying that the engine needs replaced costing $3500, took to precision auto clinic, they say nothing wrong with the engine, but replace spark plugs and the wires, $200 repair (including high mileage oil replacement), very much satisfied! saved me from throwing my car to junk! more

Honesty found here 9/7/2011

Our Chrysler 300C had a front end problem. We took the car to them and they diagnosed it as a faulty tie rod end and replaced it. The cost of this: $118. Wow. That's cheap! They could have charged me $300. In a world of retail that upsells and gouges the consumer, we were glad to find someone who didn't screw us. Thanks Steve, for being honest. more

Precision 4/5/2010

Have been going to Steve for years. Since he was in the old building. Wouldn't go any were else in Ames. The job done in a timely manor and for the price he says. Steve is always willing to answer any question you may have. I have recomend Precision to my family and friends more

Always satisified 7/16/2008

I have taken a variety of cars and vans to Precision over the past 15 years or so -- everything from oil changes to brakes to exhaust systems to wheel bearings and more. I have always been satisfied with the service, the price, and general advice about cars. \r \r My only "complaint" is that they don't open until 8 in the morning (although there is a key drop available), and they don't have enough staff to be able to give me a ride to work when I do drop off my vehicle. more
