Do not use Prairie View!!! You will be greatly disappointed. The owner promises things she will never do!!! Or try, or even come close to what she said when we were signing the dotted line. You will not even see her again. She is out trolling like a fraud!!!\r She told us how profitable the buisness of dying is as she sits there in her diamonds and gold. Meanwhile, WE comfort our family member after she finally leaves!! It was very awkward and blunt!!!!\r I dont know what they charged medicare, but i sure am interested in knowing!!! and will further pursue.\r Sometimes they dont show up. Other times someone shows up unannounced to do something ordered last week. Hospice care changes daily, how can ya just not show up?? Seriously! thats what happened.....:( \r \r more

I would like to express my gratitude for all the wonderful care that was provided for my husband while battleing his brain tumor and stoke.I had used two different hospice companyiesin Okc and was not pleased with either of them.I had a friend recomend Prairie View Hospice out of Chandler where we recieved top of the line care for my husband. The nurses, Aides, and Chaplains were all great & a blessing from God during my husbands last days. MAY GOD BLESS EACH OF YOU. more

worse hospice ever... 6/30/2009

My father was on their services, at first they gave him the care he needed, after he was with them for a while, the care went down hill, they would call on their scheduled visit to see if he needed them to come. at times they wouldn't show or call, their reasoning was we had an emergency case, short handed, the excuses went on and on. We would have to ask several times for items he needed. on emergency calls, it would take at least 1/12 to 2 hrs for them to show up. at his end of life, i feel like they knew, but were they there for the end- around the clock care his last 24 hrs like they say they will be, no they were'nt, when they seen him that mid afternoon, around 5 hrs before he past, i was told he was doing ok, but he was having apnea, lethargic, and non verbal. having the nursing experience i have no one can tell me that he was ok, when your taking only 1 breath in a 30 sec period, that is not a good sign, you be the judge. Patricia, the adminis. can be very rude, unprofessional and non caring, they should be there not only for the need of the pt, but for the family as well. Was the family given any support at all. No they weren't. when our father was in need for the family to be notified, they never called, I had to call them to check on how he was doing, at all times to get updates. This is not a hospice company i would recommed, not even for my dogs. I have worked with lots of hospice pt's myself and different co in the line of work i do, and i never have seen a company so unorganized and non caring as them. The best care he did recieve was from his aide, and that was about it. Please if you are ever in a situation where you need hopice, take the time to check out several ones before chosing, and dont choose praire view. more

Best Hospice in Oklahoma 1/24/2008

The folks from Prairie View Hospice have been absolute angels. They are very passionate about the care they give. They should be very proud of what they do-this had to be one of the hardest jobs, not everyone is able to care for people who are dying and let them leave this world with dignity and they treat them with the utmost respect. I can't believe that someone has the nerve to get on here and talk down about people that do such a wonderful job. I am not just talking-I am speaking from experience-they are wonderful and you couldn't ask for better care! more
