I bought my Toyota Prius in 2009 at another dealerhip but it was too far for service. I tried Power Toyota of Irvine. I have been going there since then, every six months. Every single time I have gone there, the service has bee amazing. Very curtious, timely accomodating staff. I'm happy to go there every time. They have a great wating area with TVs, Internet access even shuttle service to the Irvine Spectrum. Very convenient. more

I just moved here. My car need a routine servicing 2 wks ago. Now, several indicator lights went on, first time ever, and it's in again. Upsetting, not suspicious. Now, I've got Todd, who has put all my red flags up. I'm not sure if a) they'll fix what's wrong b) actually diagnose a real problem c) not introduce imaginary problems that cost lots of $$ and that'll make me come back next week d) look out for me. Actively looking for an independent mechanic near work. more

I'm not sure what company the other reviews are referring to because I've had nothing but great experiences with them. Bought our Prius in 2008 and a week later bought a Yaris. Q is a fantastic sales person who will bend over backwards for you. I've recommended him over and over again. Service, well, I bought the service package. No problems there. They even got me in and out faster than estimated when I didn't have an appointment. more

Don't waste your times with these crooks. Their internet quotes are $1000 more than any one else. They do not want return customers....they just want to rip you off for every penny and then push you out the door. I complained to Toyota INC. about them and got no response. Service dept is even as dishonest...if that is possible. more

I was very impressed by Bill Gordon who took excellent care of me. They seem honest and helpful. If you are in a hurry, tell them. They do the best to get your car ready quickly while you wait. It has happened to me many times and they did an incredibly fast maintenance service. They have a big and nice lounge with an Enterprise counter at your service if you'd like to rent a car. There is a big waiting area with nice couches and TV. They have a shuttle that runs you to Irvine Spectrum. I go back again and again. more

My car had always been taken care by my brother, a Toyota technician for the corporate Toyota in Torrance. Since my brother moved, I had to take my car to my local Toyota service center in Irvine. I totally agree that this place is full of crooks. After couple times of oil change in this place, I didn't go to any other garage to have oil change, but only Power Toyota in Irvine. My brother looked at my car again when I visited him. He saw that the oil filter these people put into my car was not genuine Toyota parts, it was probably after-market filter. I was so disappointed and called the service dept to complain. They of course denied about it. My brother works with Toyota parts everyday, how would he not recognise which one is the genuine Toyota parts? I highly doubt the honesty of this service dept of Power Toyota in Irvine. I do not recommend this place to anyone. more

Beware!! I had my Highlander in for regular service and maintained my vehicle to the dot when it came to maintenance schedules! More than once, the techs misdiagnosed my car and, in my opinion, created issues that didn't exist. Toyota mechanics are paid by the ""hour"" each job takes per the book they bill by. This means that their paychecks depend on how many ""hours"" they have on the books. In other words, the more work on your car they do, the more ""hours"" they'll get and the bigger their paycheck will be. Be very aware of this, as they will claim your car needs work done just so they can get a bigger paycheck. I take my car to an independent mechanic now and have not had a single problem. more

I took my Prius here to get an oil change after getting a coupon in the mail for a discount. After leaving the dealership and making another stop for groceries, a warning light came on. I took the car back to Power Toyota. First they claimed I had put diesel in my car instead of unleaded gas. They said they would drain the tank the next morning because it was almost closing time. I then found out the station I had bought gas from did not even sell diesel! Angry with Power Toyota's incorrect diagnosis, I called the next morning when they suddenly changed the diagnosis to an electrical problem that would cost over $600 to fix. I was about to pay them the money to fix it until I read another review online where someone had a similar problem with oil change then warning light from this SAME dealership. I decided I would not let them touch my car. I picked it up the next day, and mysteriously the warning light had disappeared. My car is running perfectly and continues to have no problems 1 month later. I will never take my car to this dishonest dealership again for service. more

We had such a positive experinece at this dealership. We were always treated with respect and never felt pressured. WE had the best sales person ever - NICK! If you go, ask for Nick...he's really great! We felt that in the end we got the car we wanted for a fair price. Pros: Nick, the sales guy, selection of cars, customer service Cons: there was food in the lobby, but you had to pay for it! more

Unbelievably pushy. Visited 4 times over a 3-year period while researching cars (guess I kept hoping to find a reasonable salesman). One salesman walked so close to me as I browsed the vehicles that I got scared. My husband told him to back away from me. He then walked even closer, with his body touching my back as I practically ran back into the building. He was almost on top of me! He only left when I asked the receptionist to get the Manager immediately; when we told the Manager what the creep was doing, his response was along the lines of ""he shouldn't have done that, what car do you want to buy"". Pros: None. Cons: Pushy sales, pushy sales, pushy sales. more

I will never attempt to buy a car from here. They act as though theyre selling a Ferrari. They lost my business for good! more
