Post Road Auto

I am new to the area and one of the most difficult things about relocating is finding a good doctor, dentist and auto repair service. I have had work done on my vehicles at numerous auto service businesses, and I say this without hesitation or equivocation, Post Road Auto is the best, period. I am extremely picky about service, be it from a doctor, dentist or auto repair business. The service at Post Road is always timely, professional, fair priced and most importantly, the quality of work is high. When I have been quoted a price it was more than likely, right on the money. If some additional repair was need, I was called immediately and the problem was thoroughly explained. When the problem was not something that was needed immediately, I appreciated the fact I was given time to get it repaired, not rushed to repair it.\r I respectfully disagree with any negative review. If you would like to go to another auto repair business, I would be more than happy to recommend some to you. more

RIP OFF!!!! this shop is such a rip off! i took my car there for a oil change and they told me my car needed 2,000 in work, i took it for a second opinion at a place in Niantic and they gave me a 400.00 est and showed me almost all of this per say work poast road tried to sell was fine Go ELSEWARE!!!! more

I brought my jeep into Post Road Auto in the beginning of the year based on a referal of a coworker. They quickly diagnosed and repaired an issue that had been on going and repaired at another garage. I now have my jeep serviced only at Post Road Auto. I am glad to have been refered to a garage that is a professional, friendly and honest establishment. i would reccomend Post Road Auto. more

Warning!!!!! Do not bring your car here. I think they are in the business of taking advantage of people especially women!! more

I agree with the other reviews. NEVER bring your car here. Everytime I brought my car in for a simple oil change there was always some other "problem" that needed fixing. I never left that place without paying at least $800. I made the mistake of buying a car from them. I paid $3600 but by the time I sold the car I had the most expensive 92 Saab in the state of CT. I wouldn't go there ever again. more

I agree this place is all smoke and mirrors, i brought my caravan in for oil change and they found some leaks (oil pan and valve gasket) i told then to fix it and the car was stalling here and there so they tuned it up (bill $950.00) the car still shut off on me when driving and when i complained the little man behind the counter acted like i was lieing, he gave me such an attitude i chose never to go back. I recently went to a garage for an oil change and was told my oil pan was leaking!! i just paid Post Road to fix it, once again i called them and they said the repair was out of warantee WHAT A CROOK!! needless to say make you're own opinion.. more

We paid $1,500 to have all of our gaskets replaced on our motor to stop our oil from leaking. Now after 1 day of noticing the smoke for our valve covers leaking oil we were told "not to worry kids" by the smooth talking owner. After that we decided to take our losses because they made our car worse than when we took it in. The car barely even starts anymore and cannot even hold an idle. I would never feel comfortable going there again. Don't be fooled by their loaner car program... the speedometer didn't work and we almost had a accident with it. Everyone beware!!! more
