Avoid at all cost. I called them to do a warranty repair on a Frigidaire range hood. They showed up, took the filter out, looked at it and diagnosed a motor and capacitor. Over 4 months later they finally come back to finish the job. He got there a half hour before me so my son let him in to start the job. By the time I got there the place was a mess and he had already discovered that he still couldn't do the repair and was going to have to take the unit down. He said he would have to come back again. I helped him remove it so he could take it with him. This was a Thursday and we didn't use the cooktop again (out of town) until Monday. While my wife was cooking dinner, she noticed a line through one of the burners and when it cooled enough and she tried to wipe it off, she realized it was a crack. The crack led back to the edge of the surface to a chip where it seems to originate. After my wife telling me about it my son explained that the tech had dropped what appeared to be the filter. The filter is heavier (for a filter) and metal framed with sharp corners and edges and could easily have chipped the edge which later radiated into a crack. I even lined the filter up with the chip to see if it fit. Perfect match. I called Posetek and after a couple days of trying, the owner finally called to tell me that they would not take care of the repair because I didn't call them soon enough. Joe said I should have inspected the area immediately after they were there and since I didn't, it was my problem. Even though the tech admittedly dropped the filter he said that it could not have caused the crack because its not heavy enough. I tried explaining that the chip is what caused the crack but he was to busy being opinionated and rude to me to listen. He refused to use my name and kept referring to me as ""Guy"" even after I asked him to use my name. It's not over yet. Don't use them or, if you do, good luck. more

WE DID OUR JOB - SPD10 4/27/2012

We were called out to the consumer's home to repair an Electrolux microwave oven under the original OEM warranty. When the service technician arrive, he noticed the latch assembly on the drop down door was damaged. He ordered the replacement parts and a few days later it was repaired. A short time later the consumer called us and stated that the unit had broken again. We went back out and low and behold he was correct. The same parts were again damaged. We ordered them and repaired the unit again for him. A few days later, he called and said the same parts were broken for a third time. We knew this appliance was a high end unit costing over $2,000 so we directed him to the Electrolux customer support team. Electrolux determined that the unit should be replaced in order to promote customer satisfaction and brand loyalty. They exchanged the unit with a brand new one. They installed it and a few days later he called again stating that the same problem had happened with his new one. We went out again to service the new unit and found the exact same parts as the old unit were broken on the new one. The technician asked him to please show him how he clossed the microwave door. According to our tech, the consumer slamed the door of the unit. Our tech told him that he had to use a gentler touch closing the microwave door. Well he said the design was defective and he was not to blame. We explained the situation to Electrolux and they deemed the incident as customer abuse and would not cover the repair to the unit. Electrolux produces thousands of these units per year. We are the factory service providers for them and have hundreds of those units in our service area. We have never ran into this situation with this model microwave. If the unit was built with a defect in the latch, we would have had hundreds of complaints with the same issue as his. We as a service company went above and beyond to make sure the consumer's issues were addressed by Electrolux. We fixed his old unit several times at no cost to him. We facilitated his contact with Electrolux. Electrolux exchanged the old unit and installed a brand new one for him. He continued to experience the same exact problem with his new one. We tried to help him as much as we could but we cannot in all fairness, condone the way he operated the door of the unit. We run 60-70 calls per day and we are the highest rated A/C and Appliance service company in the SW Florida region. We strive to deliver a cutomer centric service experience to each and every consumer we service. I am saddened to know that the consumer's experience was not a good one, but we as a service company and the Electrolux Corporation are not blame. more

Stay Away From Posetek 2/14/2012

These people are utterly the wost of the wost of any company I have encountered in my 64 years on this earth. Obvioulsy I have had a bad experiene. 5 service calls on a microwave / convection oven ($2000), in 6 months and finally they report that I ""slam the door to hard and cause the oven to fail."" I have never slamed my oven door and can only imagine that they report this due to their inability to satisfiy the mfg. regarding their inability to make lasting repairs. I am now stuck with an 8 month old purchase, ($2000), with no warranty, no repairs that will not work becuase of Posetec. more

Reliable Appliance Repairs in Fort Myers 5/17/2011

Excellent Service. Our refrigerator ice maker was leaking. The Technican arrived as scheduled, and diagnosed the problem. He ordered the part needed. The office called to schedule the installation of the part. Again the technician arrived on time and promptly did his job. The price for the service and pat was fair. I will certainly use them in the future. more

Great Service 8/22/2010

We had a problem with our refrigerator on a Sunday. We called Monday morning and Joe was at our home by 11:00 am. He quickly diagnosed the problem and fixed it right away. I would recommend Posetek to anyone who had a problem with an appliance! Joe was extremely personable and professional!!! more

I had a problem with my stove last weekend and called Posetek Appliance Services, they came at the time they said, took care of the problem and I was cooking dinner the same day. They are excellent. Pros: Fast, efficient, economical Cons: None that I could see more

I had my dishwasher recently repaired by postek appliance service. Wow was I impressed. When I placed the call, the office manager was extremely friendly. I had a tech out in two days. The repair was nothing urgent, but I feel if it were I would have been taken care of immediately. I received a call prior to the tech. coming out. He was prompt, introduced himself, was uniformed, polite and very knowledgable. He informed me that I needed a part for my dishwasher and gave me a time expentency. Now this is the kicker. I have all new electrolux appliances. He did a general assessment of them and asked me if I had any other questions. He recognized that I did not have my filter in my fridge and helped me put it in. Explained how the drawers went in and out, explained the ice maker and recognized that the fridge was out of balance and fixed it. He also explailned the care of my glass cooktop stove with no charge. This saved me alot of time, (I may have had to call for another issue)effort and frustration (He taught me how to put in filters and explained how things worked) and money (I could have ruined my cooktop). I have never had a repair company do this before. Yes I am impressed and definately recommend using Posetek! Pros: friendly, prompt, knowlegable, professional. Cons: none noted more
