Very knowledgeable and friendly medical staff 10/22/2009

They treat my cats (4) like I do. I have worked six years as a veterinary assistant for surgical procedures and general care. I have tried the local guys but can't find anyone who comes close to the care given by Dr. Norsworthy and his staff. Pros: They know cats! The only place I trust for cat care 10/22/2009

Dr Norsworthy has been my cats' vet for over 20 years now! He has saved several of my cats from the brink of death in emergencies as well as providing top notch care for their general needs. I have referred numerous people who's cats had stuborn health issues and in every case were greatful for the recommendation and what Dr. Norsworthy was able to do for thier cats. Outstanding "Kittyatrician" for my 5 Cats 10/22/2009

I entrust the care of all my "kitty babies" to Dr. Norsworthy and his staff because I have found the medical care and boarding facilites to be premiere. He and his staff have been kind, compassionate, and caring during times of distress and loss of two of my aged and beloved pets. The care and follow up for my current five cats is outstanding and state of the art. I am in the healthcare field and have observed that Dr. Norsworthy holds his practice parallel to meet the same high standards for care delivery to his feline patients as would be expected for human patients. Terrific Boarding Facilities 10/21/2009

I don't know what tinker2104tinker is talking about. I HAVE just popped in on my kitty during boarding when I returned home early from a trip. He WAS in luxury boarding with a view, which was lovely, by the way. He was so happy in the clean, dog-free environment. I honestly don't think he wanted to leave. The staff is so friendly and kind. You can tell they really love cats. more

Awesome Clinic 10/20/2009

I was referred to this clinic by a friend. As soon as I walked into the office, I knew that I was going to be very happy.The front desk staff was very patient with me , they got me back to my room very quickly. The nurses came in quickly with the Dr soon following. I was very impressed with the exam room. I asked for and was immediately given a tour of the clinic & boarding. Since I travel alot , I was also looking for a boarding place. They have that also. The cats that were staying there seemed to be very happy. The staff was kind enough to answer all my questions. I was very impressed and would recommend this clinic to everyone Pros: Awesome Staff/Doctors more

$150 boarding fee-cat not fed!! 10/18/2009

Boarded my cat in "luxury suite" "with a view" for $30/night. Came back from 5 day trip and out of 6 cans of food I took, they returned 5. Out of sandwich bag of dry food, over half was returned. They nearly starved my cat!!!! Picked up at 10:30 a.m. and cat STILL WAS NOT FED FOR THAT MORNING!! Instructions were to give him 1 can of food every morning. Whether he eats it or not, you give another can the next morning. Duh!!Would have been interesting to just pop in to pick up cat and insist on seeing where he was. With this lack of care, I wonder if he REALLY was in a large luxury kennel with a view..... Pros: clean in front area Cons: Technicians in back not doing job--too pricey-- more

Alamo Feline is not only the best practice in San Antonio for Cats, They have the best staff. Caring, Compasionate and every second willing to help. I truly appreciate them, from the second you walk in the door you are greated by a friendly front desk that after just a few visits know you by name. The technicians that come into the room before the doctor are always caring and listen to your kitties special issues. The doctors (both of them) are fabulous and do everything they can to make sure that your kitties specific needs are met. From the doctor's willingness to help keep you informed about your kitty when hospitalized, to the updates on the bill they make sure every question I had was answered promtly. The Best Cat Vet 5/9/2008

With Dr. Norsworthy's help my 17 yr old cat is still doing great. I would not take my cat anywhere else. I have boarded my very shy cat there with great success as well. I have never had a bad experience with any staff members there. If your cat needs specialty care or you just want the best, this is the place to go. Pros: No dogs allowed more

Fantastic Staff and Vet 2/28/2008

I have been taking my cat Ambrosia to Dr. Nosworthy for around 5 years she has a heart issue that has been stabalized. They are very professional and use the best equipment. Know What to Ask for 1/4/2008

These Vets are good as are the techs. They tackle behavioral issues and are quickly able to recognize and treat cat unique illnesses. On the flip side the front desk staff is aloof and not overly helpful. You'll need to pay attention to make sure you get everything you require before you leave. The first time I took the cat for shots, I got home and realized she did not get a Feline Leukemia booster (her kennel requires one) nor did I get a rabies certificate. When I called, I was told you have to ask for both. Had to go back & get the certificate for her license; took her to Petco for her leukemia booster so she could board. When I left her for a dental, I went back to pick her up and was handed the bill and the cat. I remembered the vet had said he would prescribe meds...I had to ask to get them. I now take the cat to the general practice vet for vaccinations and general health and use these guys for specific illnesses. Pros: Good vets. Good techs. Cons: Unfriendly office staff more

Loves it! 9/17/2007

I got the most amazing hair color and cut of my life!!! All my friends go to Toni and I couldn't believe how great their hair looked, I finally made an appointment and I am so glad I did. My hair looks like something out of a fashion magazine, I am thrilled. I would highly recommend Toni Brunetta for cuts and colors. Also- salon staff was very friendly and helpful and I found great products that arent offered elsewhere in the area. Thanks again!! more

Kitty Care Galore 7/30/2007

The care provided by all the vets at this clinic is outstanding. If you are looking for discount services and kitty shortcuts you will not find it here. You will pay for the excellent care at this facility. The vets and their assistants go out of their way for your kitty furbaby and I feel it is worth every penny I have spent in the last couple of years. The calls to tell you what is going on throughout the day are such a relief when your furbaby is hurt or sick. Follow up reminders are fantastic and the letter from your kitty to you are both cute and very informative. My cats feel very comfortable coming to the clinic and are treated with the upmost respect that they deserve. No doggie smells there. If you love your kitty and want the best care then this is the vet office for you. Pros: Great staff Cons: I have no cons more

OUTRAGEOUSELY EXPENSIVE!!! You'd better be rich if you have a sick pet! 5/22/2007

MAKE SURE "MONEY IS NO OBJECT" if you take your pet to this clinic!!! This vet is good and VERY EXPENSIVE! I had to finance nearly $400.00 (thank goodness they offer financing!) for tests and ONE night's stay for my sick kitty. I was totally shocked at the charges when I went to pick her up the next day! The front desk person was extremely sharp in her tone when she said that " if money was an object" that I should have asked how much everything was while the vet was actively examining and testing her. He went right ahead doing the tests and neither the he nor the assistant in the room ever asked me if I wanted them done or gave me a clue of what the costs would be until at the end of the appt. when I asked about the pricing for an extended stay for my sick kitty (I was quoted $600.00 to $900.00 or more for a 5 day stay). The way this was handled was not ethical in my opinion. We ove our pets and know vet bills can ring up - but this was rediculous! His charges were DOUBLE my other vet's fees for HALF the amount of treatment! PET OWNERS BEWARE! There are other good vets out there for a MUCH lower price! Pros: Vet is good Cons: UNDISCLOSED CHARGES! WAY TOO EXPENSIVE! more

Best Hair color ever! 10/25/2006

It's like stepping to another world. Very comfortable environment, friendly staff, great service...I had the best facial and hair color I've ever had...can't wait to go back! Specialist in cats 9/13/2006

This vet is very knowledgable, and has an obvious love for his patients. Excellent quality care. After recently switching from a general vet to a specialist-he does only felines- i would never go back to a regular vet. Dr. Norsworthy was very thorough in his treatment with my cats.
