Good City Nursery 12/30/2005

Those of us on the outskirts have a lot of nurseries to choose from but if you remain in Portland most of the time it is very convenient to buy plants at Portland Nursery. The price is a little higher but they really have a wide selection. Lots of events and classes are scheduled and they are community oriented. A good nursery more

Portland Nursery is an excellent nursery for your garden needs. If you are looking for something specific check out this nursery. Even if you don't know what you are looking for, like us, try em! They have helpful staff that is willing to answer your questions and help you plan your purchase. Our plants have held strong for the past few months. more

One of the best nurseries! 9/24/2005

This nursery is one of the best in the Portland area in my opinion, with an impressive selection of quality plants, trees, etc. and reasonable prices as well. We spent hours and hours here when we were first setting up our yard and were almost always able to find what we were looking for. We've been very pleased with the plants we purchased here and the staff is very helpful and patient in answering questions. Beacuse it is popular, it can get pretty packed on weekends and parking can be in short supply, although we were always able to find a spot. more

Good 8/17/2005

Portland Nursery is the only place I go to for gardening needs. They have all the seeds I need, so when it comes time to plant fruits or vegetables, I have no problem finding them. The staff is very friendly, and very informative. They also have lots of pretty plants and flowers. Can get busy especially during the weekend. more

This nursery tops my list for its plant selection and quality. I've always been pleased with my purchases here and the staff is enormously friendly, always willing to answer questions from a beginner. A great place to get your soil or compost tested. Some cute gardening-type gifts here, as well. It can get enormously crowded on warm weekends and parking can be a struggle, though. Service is still efficient, even when it's busy more
