Many Portlanders know about Port City as a work activity center for developmentally disabled adults. But few people realize what those adults do all day long...they complete production projects for other companies at a huge savings to the companies involved. Their contracts include prepping hangars for a dry cleaners, sorting and bagging parts for industrial suppliers, and other similar projects. I was so impressed by their work that I am contracting personally with them to make my campaign buttons for the '08 city commission primary.
Does your business havea production job that you're paying day labor to complete? This may be a more affordable alternative!
