I will not be recommending this store to anyone. maybe i should buy from you GIA stones at those prices i would be a MILLIONAIRE! i sent in a SEMI TRANSPARENT GIA UNHEATED RUBY 3 ...

Shame on you Porcello! 8/24/2010

I came in because of their online ads for buying jewelry. The owner should be embarrassed by the used car salesman he employs. I took quite a bit of scrap there, we had weighed it and accounted for the carat and I was shocked by the low price he offered. Ended up taking it to a coin shop in Lynnwood and was offered twice the amount. Porcello should be ashamed! more

Diamond Stud 8/17/2010

Long story but had 1 3/4 carat diamond stud that I didn't need so took it to Porcello Jewelers because of an advertisement I saw. A person named Will helped me in which he started off by saying my diamond had flaws, bad color, etc and then offered me $220. Ok, what Will did not know was that I lost my other stud, insurance paid $3000 for the replacement of the stud and the stud was bought at Ben Bridge. All I can say is stay away from this jewelers unless you want to be ripped off. Or maybe Will just didn't know a good diamond when he saw one!!! more

Good Business 7/27/2010

I was referred to Porcellos by a friend, and was blown away. Not only did I get a fair price for the coins I was selling, I was able to sell some additional jewelry that I wanted to get rid of. Will be back! more

Rip Off 7/1/2010

Went to sell an old gold ring. 1st went to Bellevue Rare Coins, offered $70. Owed it to myself to check others, so I stopped at Porcello's. Will? examined the ring, claimed it was 14 carat as he tossed it on to the scale. Within an instant he offers $40 to which I chuckled, thanked him for the confirmation. I told him I'm back to Bellevue Rare Coins. He asked how much they offered. I answered. He scoffed "They're crazy!". His demeanor was that of a used car salesman - clearly looking to rip me off. Wouldn't be able to trust them with anything as a result - buying or selling. more

MARK PORCELLO IS THE BEST! 5/21/2010

I recently went through a messy divorce, and wanted to get rid of all the jewelry that I had given my Ex-wife. I went to several jewelry stores, and even looked at a few places online. I went to Porcello Jewlers, because I had heard they were great to do business with. I went in and Mark Porcello was in the store, long story short I was impressed with him and his operation. I HIGHLY reccomend Porcello Jewelers! more

Will never buy from this store! 5/16/2010

Will never shop here... They advertise that they buy jewelry, when I went in to see what they would offer me for an antique ring, the guy basically told me it was worth nothing but would trade it for credit. When I told him of a certain high end ring that I wanted, he proceded to show me really crappy stuff. Then he went off to continue whatever he was doing before. What a horrible place to buy jewelry. They sound like used car dealers...... more

Best place to SELL jewelry! 4/1/2010

I could not disagree more with Tony. This is the best place to sell Jewelry in the state. I had a lot of jewelry from an ex-boyfriend that I wanted to get rid of, and this place was awesome. I had gone to other places, but I was able to get the most bang for my buck here. more

Nearly scammed 3/25/2010

DO NOT SELL HERE!!! These people are con artists!! I took a large group of 14k and 10k scrap jewelry to them, there offer was horrible. I had taken it to another place that offered me nearly double what they did. If you are selling your any gold or silver here, you are getting ripped off!!! You should never sell anything here!!! Especially precious metals, coins, or anything else that obviously a Jewelry store should not be buying. more

I cannot say enough good things about Porcello Jewelers. First of all I love the fact that it is family owned. Mark the owner was at the store when we were there and he was an absolute delight. We not only were able to get rid of some old jewelry, but there was a necklace there, that was exactly what I was looking for. \r Great place! more

My experience at Porcello's was also very professional, and informative. I brought in a old pocket watch, a ring, and some gold bullion that had been in the family for a few years to have evaluated and was offered a very fair, and lucrative price especially in comparison to other places I had gone to. Mark Porcello himself was at the store, and was very warm and friendly. Highly recommend Porcello's more

I had the absolute pleasure to meet Mark Porcello at a jewelery event. There was another company there and they offered me literally a third of what the people at Porcello Jewelers offered me. I was treated with respect, and am very happy with my experience. more

seller 1/9/2010

I went to Porcello's 3 Day Buying Event in December with gold coins, a Rolex watch and diamond rings. What a surprise! They weren't buying, but ridiculing my jewelry collection and offering pennies on the dollar. They were ungracious, rude and embarrassed me. I see again they are advertising Buying Event. Do not bother to attend-they do not honor their ads, let alone a person's assets. They aren't buying, but instead laughing at us for making the effort! more

Very Fun Experience 10/3/2009

I was very satisfied with my experience at Porcello Jewelers. I had some old broken chains and jewelry that i no longer had any use for. While browsing the store i found a lovely diamond pendant that i had to have. I was able to trade my old jewelry for something i now wear everyday! Everyone was very kind and helpful. more

Porcello Jewelers is GOOD 7/11/2009

Today I went to Porcello Jewelers and I had a wonderful experience! Will was extremely informative and answered all 100 questions that I had. The quality of the stones were not the best that I have seen but you get what you pay for and their prices were very fair. I would purchase a diamond from them (or Will). They were one of the better stores that I have been to. The quest for a good diamond is NOT EASY!! more

Go somewhere else! 6/9/2009

I took my engagement ring in with a third party appraisal of about $7,000 in hand. After hearing a long drawn out explanation of the economy and used diamonds being compared to used cars, I was offered $600. After trying New York Diamond Exchange, which allowed me to enter my ring specs online, I was offered more than twice that amount for just the center diamond. I would highly recommend taking your jewelry to a more respectful business! more

I went into Porcello Jewelers and had a Great Experience. I sold some of my jewelry to a man named Will. He was very informative and that made me very comfortable. Porcello Jewelers is best to stay away from 7/13/2008

We went in to see what we could get for some rings and were basically laughed at. I had this stuff appraised by a reputable jeweler who does not purchase used and was offered less then 5% by Will. He then continued to look down his nose at us and talk about the recession. Giving us, 'poor me' stories about paying for college and whatnot. If I could give less then 1 star I would. more
