Pop's Propane Corp

Pop's Propane is a cash and carry fill station for barbecue tanks. This company does not install tanks at homes, or delivery to homes or anything of that nature. So we are not sure where these comments came from or who they were intended for, but they do not have any relation to the the nature of this business. It should be illegal to post false claims and comments for the public to see. City Search should do the proper research before publishing false accusations. Thank you more

I wish I had seen these reviews before I called them. It would have saved me time and money. These people seem to have been raised in caves, I mean it, by the way they treat people, by the complete lack of an accounting system, by there defensive lies as soon as you start to complain. Island Propane is less a company than it is a group of desparate,low-life sharks who decided to get together and strongarm decent families out of their hard earned money. Pros: none! As a new propane user, we just used the company which the previous homeowner used. After nearly two years, I discovered I was paying nearly twice the price of Island Propane and was the object of some very bad attitudes and abuse. Pros: never a problem Cons: none I can think of more

This company took my money and stopped answering my calls. I'm out a deposit and still have no propane! more

At first I thought I was getting a good deal. Timely (promised) delivery at a decent price, but I've been waiting for 19 days passed the delivery date..nothing. No word from them, no response to my numerous messages, and of course, no refund of my deposit. Do I have to contact a lawyer? Pros: good promises. Cons: all promises are empty. more

I opened an account wih this company 6 months ago with a substantial deposit. This morning I noticed one of their ""boys"" ripping the tank and regulator off of my house. He claimed I had an overdue balance, and that hooking up another tank was ""illegal"". I have confirmed with the office people that I don't owe money but they have yet to call me back and let me know what they intend to do. I had a small container on there because when I had called for a new tank two weeks ago they quoted me a waiting period of several weeks. They took the tank and the regulator and drove off. Thank You Island Propaine. Unbelievable. Pros: They appear to be vaguely human. Cons: Their field techs are lacking in basic education, if they wake up on the wrong side of the bed they might come to your house and make you pay for it. more
