Pony Express RV Resort

We used to love this place. We heard that there would be new owners and were excited to see what changes were made. We left this place that we loved so much because of the new management that was hired. The couple have yelled at the kids that are there, they yell at their staff, the female (I refuse to call her a lady) even yelled at a very old lady and made her cry. You can't speak with these people without them looking down on you, talking to you as if you are scum instead of customers. The fact that they yell at their staff, let alone in front of customers is pathetic. I have seen them scream at their customers as if they really hate them and hate what they are doing. I do not see this park lasting very long because they are pushing out all the customers faster than they can get new ones. The worst part is having the guy shine his flashlight in my windows. I understand security but what exactly are you going to find in my windows??? DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE! more

The new MaNAGMENT at this park are horrible, swearing at a customer. I realize they're power hungry but customer service is a priority! The made me unhook my car before entering the park but the way the managers especially the cocky arrogant male whering is fake cowboy hat around was so rude threatening me. If I don't do what he says right now we can't stay at his park.. This park is going to go down hill fast if the new owners don't get rid of these horrible managers. I've never been treated worse in my life, I will never come back!!!!! Shame on you pony express this manager couple day they don't care if you have customers as long as there managing. I was appolled at how unprofessional they were and the wife sitting there laughing while her husband is yelling at a customer!!!! Wow what is wrong with the owners that they would let them run the park so badly? more

Me and my husband stayed at this park a few years ago when the Wilbur's were managers. It was a great experience then, the park was clean and the managers were so friendly, (would bend over backwards to make your stay as comfortable and convenient as possible) and the only two girls at the desk were very competent and courteous. Now, with the new management we are absolutely determined never to stay at this rv park ever again. I agree 100% with AnnieLace's review. It is very satisfying to be at a place where the staff and team are very professional and top notch for a place deemed ""RESORT,"" as it was with the latter managers. But during this stay, when the new manager shared uncomfortable stories about his personal life, talked horribly about other guests that were staying at the park, and referred to his employees as ""the help,"" both my husband and I have decided to no longer include the Pony Express RV Resort in our future arrangements when visiting the Salt Lake area. Customer service is what makes all the difference, and at this park, there is a serious lack. If i were you, I would do what truthful01's review says and stay elsewhere when visiting Salt Lake City. more

This RV park is terrible the owners are jokes, they treat customers and employees alike with NO RESPECT. They only care about making money and as a former employee I know just how low they will stoop to take any paying customer for a ride. I would never advise ANYONE to ever stay at this park. Trust me go and stay at the KOA! more

Recommended to us by fellow RVers. Very comfortable and clean, plenty of room for our 41' RV. Staff was friendly and helpful with their dinner & shopping suggestions. We will be back! more

We love to go to SLC! But we were very disappointed with a New RV park that has opened in North Salt Lake City. The park is gated which is good given the area of town it's in. (Rose Park) but that's about all I can say good about it. Staff was very rude and condescending, sights are not at all level, NO shade at all, right off a major highway (loud), right across for the refinery (smell), no organized activities. It was mid July and we had a dog and they said ""you can not leave your dog in the camper alone, we lose electricity all the time and it might get to hot for your dog"". They lose electricity all the time? We couldn't even go out to dinner! We left the next day....A really disappointment for us. Pros: New Park, Gated Cons: Smell, Highway Noise, Not level spots, No shade, Management Rude, Mesquitoes in Bathrooms, Standing water around park, Electricity Problems, Lack of Parking, Narrow spots, No older campers more
