Pong Import

I'm telling you, Pong Imports can handle any problem. I was having trouble with my '03 Lexus ES300 and brought it to Pong's because my friend had recommended the shop to me when her car had broken down. She had told me that they were just as good as any dealers but without costing me an arm and a leg. I trusted her and handed my baby to them. They were absolutely phenomenal. They were first rate and explained to me the possible causes for the problems and asked for my approval before doing anything to my car. They even gave me tips for better maintenance and were honest about the repairs. These guys have earned my trust 100%! more

I have been a customer at Pong Imports Auto Service for five years running now. Their generosity is an outstanding point in their services and is what makes it stand out. A couple of days ago, I had hit a very bad pothole a few miles from my house, which is in Mt. Prospect, and it had badly damaged the axle in my car. I had never had anything like this happen to me before. I called Lee at Pong's in a panic, not knowing what to do since it was just after regular work hours and I wasn't a part of any service programs like AAA. He was so nice and calmed me down. Lee even kept the shop open several hours after it was supposed to close so he could wait for the tow truck to drive to the shop! There are no other mechanics who would have been so nice. I have to agree with the other reviewers that I most definitely trust Pong Imports. more

I brought in my Nissan Sentra to Pong's, and I was just blown away by how honest and trustworthy they were. Lee was kind enough to explain everything for me and even showed me what was done and changed in my car. There aren't many mechanic shops that would've taken the time to be so considerate. I highly recommend Pong Imports; they're first rate people and even better mechanics! more

There are no more trustworthy mechanics in Chicago than Lee and Pong. I've brought my Hondas, my Accura, and my Toyota here over the past 14 years, and ALWAYS get the best deal in town. If work doesn't NEED to be done, they tell me. When it's URGENT, they tell me. Not only have they done extra work on my cars without charging me for it, at one point, when my father was dying, my fuel pump was shot, and I was a panicking mess, Lee sat me down and calmly said, "Mr. Sean, you need to learn how to meditate. Look at you - you're not BREATHING." What more could one possibly want out of a mechanic? I trust them implicitly. more
