Ponderosa Steakhouse

I have always looked forward to going to Ponderosa. We don't go often because of the gas prices. After going there today, we won't be back. The service was very poor. They ran out of baked potatoes. I ask for a side of mushrooms, I only got six. I paid $1.29 for them. I had to keep asking my waitress where there were. The buffet selection was very limited. A very disappointed dinner. more

I often go here, It is always clean and fast. The food is good, and i have never saw nats flying around the food. Please dont go by my review go try yourself. more

My 10yr. old daughter and I, while traveling through Wabash, IN, stopped at Ponderosa to eat dinner. The cost of my buffet was 8.99, my daughter's 4.99. After sitting down at the table, I had to clean off the stuck on food on the table top. Our waitress approached as I was doing this and said nothing about the table being dirty. My daughter and I approached the buffet to see that the food was crusty and unappealing. The guy working behind the buffet had no hair net on, hair hanging down over food and handling food with out gloves. There were knats flying around the buffet table as well as our table while eating. Two knats landed on my daughter's plate and we both lost our appetite by this point, not to mention that the food was cold. The waitress approached to see if everything was ok, and I mentioned to her about the loss of appetite after only 1 plate of food and the knats hovering around. She told me she would mention it to her manager , but she didn't think that there was anything that could be done about it. I never saw our waitress or the manager after that. I went into the restroom and found it to be very dirty and trash all over the floor and toilets that were very unclean, no soap.......I was very disappointed with my expieriance there, and do not recommend it to anyone.
