This is a restaurant my family has frequented for years. Though the area has changed quite significantly in the past ten or fifteen years, the Polonia remains the same -- serving traditional Polish food at a reasonable price. Often, their appetizers alone are enough to make a meal. If you're thrifty, you can keep a meal for two under $10! The servers are all Polish, so if you know how to speak the language, feel free to try your hand at ordering in it! Of course, if you have a chatty Polish grandma like I do, you might have to coax the two of them apart so you can order your meal. It's a nice place with a classic Polish vibe to it, and it's definitely something different from the average "ethnic" meal. The meals are hearty and filling, so keep that in mind! Try the potato noodles, pierogi, or potato pancakes.
