I saw a nice clean cement cage area for the stray dogs. Yes there where tarps over the fenced cage areas, but at least I thought it gave the dogs some shade area! \r

The inside of the building looked clean & neat. \r

I saw dogs & puppies that where in clean cages with water & food, all of which made me very happy! Only 1 water bowl was empty out of all the cages I saw and that dog didn?t appear thirsty at all. So I figured he must have just drunk it all or spilled it. The dogs looked well taken care of & well groomed. \r

I decided to try & visit each & every single dog in the place. Spend a few minutes of my time with each one showing him or her that someone actually cares. NONE of the dogs tired to bite or growl when I put my fingers near them. All they wanted was attention & love & just to be played with. We saw some even running around the place wanting to get our attention. GREAT I thought they get to run around and get exercise.\r

I was really happy to see there where dog toys around the area & in some of the cages for the dogs to play with. In the larger cages I saw small plastic pools filled with clean water for the dogs to play in & cool off! Every single cage had a dog carrier in it for the dogs to get in if they so decided. Terrific I thought at least the dogs have somewhat of a doghouse! \r

Just before we left the shelter the guy at the desk spoke to us & that?s when I had the chance to ask him my questions. First, I needed to know how long they kept the animals, he informed us that they keep the animal anywhere from 3 days to 6 months. It just depends on the animal & how friendly it is & what condition the animal is in. \r
\r
I suggest to anyone who has not gone there to please go there. If nothing else just to visit the poor stray animals that ended up there. LET THEM KNOW YOU CARE! \r
\r
For the love these animals have to offer is priceless!!!\r
