Great Vet!! 3/23/2009

I had taken our dog to another emergency vet when she became ill on a Saturday. Not only was it expensive but our dog only deteriorated over the next 36 hours. When we took her to see Dr. Gary we were prepared to have her put to sleep. She was so weak she was unable to walk. From the moment we walked through the front door the entire staff showed nothing but optimism and compassion for our dog. After treating her and educating us in her care he told us we would see a considerable amount of improvment in 6 hours. Just as he told us 6 hours later she was up looking for dinner. After our visit Dr. Gary called to check on her a couple times a day. She is now completely back to herself. We can not thank them enough! Pros: knowledgeable, friendly, clean more

Horrible! Stay away if you love your pet! 8/25/2008

This place is really horrible! Their misdiagnosis cost the life of a wonderful, loving dog, and their prices were higher than the emergency vet hospital at peak time even though their treatment was ALL WRONG! How they missed a tumor that big, I'll never know, but it was obvious to the emergency vet when he looked at their xrays, so how did THEY miss it? I wouldn't even recommend you take your dog to them for routine shots or deworming, because once they become your vet, and something serious comes up, they won't be able to handle it. Pros: Whatever pros there were previously were cancelled out by their horrible unprofessionalism Cons: criminal misdiagnosis, horrific prices, nasty female vet filling in for regular vet. dog died needlessly. more

  • We treat your pets like family Pointe Animal Hospital is a small animal veterinary hospital specializing in companion animals. Primarily we deal with dogs and cats, but we also treat rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, hamsters etc. Services provided include: physical exams, vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventatives, flea and tick control products, spays and neuters, other surgeries such as wound repair and mass removals, dental cleanings, x-rays, bloodwork, hospitalizations, IV fluids, and many others. We also have a certified master groomer on site 3 days a week for dog grooming services. Veterinary services are provided by Dr. Chris Repke, DVM. Dr. Chris is a '03 MSU graduate who spent the last 12 years in small animal clinical practice nearby in White Lake, MI. On 4/1/15, he purchased the formerly Pointe Animal Clinic in Fenton from Dr. Labar who retired after more than 30 years.
