STAY AWAY ! 1/11/2009

I'll start by saying it was a very bad expierience . I had ordered over the phone chicken mary lou quessadillas and a Green mary lou dinner for takeout . i looked at the price and was a little thrown off that i was paying almost $11 for quessidillas but thought hey they must be pretty good , why not try them . Oh was i wrong . They were soggy and small portioned and just had a nasty nasty taste to it. Our total bill after tax $26 for the worst meal i have ever had. After eating , my and my b/f ended up making a a frozen pizza because we were still so hungry !!!!!! Not only i am furious i spent that much for such pooo but litterlly have been on the toilet since waking up this morning , Not recomened unless you like getting ripped off and like sitting on toilets . This review is based on the food and price alone . STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!! Pros: atmosphere Cons: bad food more

Good service but mediocre food 1/5/2007

First time at this restaurant after passing many times. Very good atmosphere for families, good service and the margarita was respectable. However, its the food stupid and the fare here is quite mediocre. It had all the trappings of a decent and interesting menu but the flavor was just missing. My wife had a salad that tasted just OK. My dish was quite spicy (hot) but again lacking in flavor. Pros: Good service, good margarita Cons: Mediocre food more

False Advertising 12/29/2006

From the street, the place looked hopping. I mean, pink neon sign, that screams fun. I was disappointed though. I suppose after eating at El Cactus any Mexican food other than theirs is a let down. My suggestion: if you're thinking of going to Poco's, take the time to drive about 10 minutes from there to El Cactus, you won't be sorry! Pros: It's got a sick neon pink sign Cons: NOTHING LIKE EL CACTUS! more
