We just had our landscape done by Poco Verde and worked with Rhonda and I must say it turned out amazing. The crew did a wonderful job and we are extremely pleased with them and everything turned out better than expected. Rhonda was able to give us what we wanted in a design and we love the end result. more

We should have known better. This company certainly operates under the adage of ""you get what you pay for."" We went with Poco Verde because they gave us the cheapest quote but had I known what a tremendous disappointment this whole experience would be, I would have paid more to work with a more professional company. They started 4 days late (after I had to call and ask what happened), ran out of rock (and didn't tell me, I had to ask why an entire side of our house was left empty) and then had the nerve to compliment their own work. Don't waste your time or your money. more

We are now really enjoying our BBQ island, fire pit, hot tub, front courtyard, and everything about our landscaping. We chose Poco Verde upon recommendation of our spa salesperson. Meeting Bob and seeing the very attractive ramada they build sealed the deal. As we had a new build, we had a lot of decisions to make and many changes were made along the way to accommodate price and esthetics.\r \r In the end, we have the landscaping that matches our dream. The entire crew is unmatched in the construction industry. Even the care with which the men set the boulders, shows their skill, caring and pride of workmanship. Their paver work is gorgeous and the ramada, complete with some tricky curves, is perfect. When frost threatened, Poco Verde held off planting for a few days.\r \r Yes, we thought they might get sick of us while we mulled over what to plant where, and how many plants we needed, and where to put the spa, but through it all each individual was completely helpful, courteous and professional. BEWARE of this company. High price/low quality and VERY unprofessional. Four thousand dollars later, the weeds looked healthier! I ended up having to hire a small family landscaper to fix my yard. For less than half the price I originally paid, I now have a beautiful, symmetrically balanced landscape with MATURE, HEALTHY plants. I learned an expensive lesson. You will NOT get what you see in the photographs/advertisements. Because I expected to get what I was promised, I was referred to as ""grumpy"" ""picky"" and they even ignorantly tried to associated this disaster by referring to a legitimate manufacturer defect that was properly handled by another company. Amazing Service, I had a remodel completed before an event and everyone was able to meet my needs and get the job done. Everything was cleaned up and ready to go with no problems. Couldn't have been any easier, a little patience on my part and it was done. They provided a walk thru so I could familierize myself with everything and I was ready to go! more

We also purchased a new home and Poco Verde was the contract company for our landscaping. Not only did the superintendent not live in the area, she was difficult to reach. The company gave no insight into creating a dream backyard and charged a lot of money for a standard package. Needless to say, a year has gone by and we have totally redone our yard because of the poor quality work and dead plants. In addition to this, we have constantly had problems with the watering system. Including the yard flooding and not turning on or off. The superintendent could not clearly explain how to use the watering system (which explains why there is a tutorial on their website) and explained the flooding was from over watering, so they reduced the water time. Now we are paying to have the sprinkler system fixed because there was a break in the line. The entire experience with this company has been awful. Save your money and hire someone else. more

We just closed on our home and Poco Verde Landscape was able to help us in our landscaping. They were able to fit everything we wanted in the back yard and keep it within our budget. There superintendents were also very helpful in teaching us how to use our timer plus giving us tips on what to expect and how to take care of our plants. Everything was done in a timely matter and I would recommend them anytime. more

We recently purchased a new home and had both our front and backyard landscape done by Poco Verde landscape. We went in not knowing anything about landscaping as we just moved out here but Poco Verde was able to guide us into what we wanted and how to make it look good I was very pleased with the turn out and am looking forward to using my BBQ for the first time. I took advantage of the first time home buyer credit and purchased a new, Poco Verde Landscape was the landscaper for my community and they worked with me to get my backyard landscape done. In this market we are in now they worked with me to get what I wanted at a great price. They offered free estimates for my backyard which I was originally going to wait on for a while but once I saw what they could do it for I jumped on the deal and they started immediately Pros: Great Customer Service, and Design Work more

We used Poco Verde as part of a package with Paddock Pools which was the preferred pool company for our builder and gave us the ability to put our lanscaping package in our mortgage. They put together a nice design but after 4+ years of tree/plant growth it has become apparent the trees were planted too close to the block wall which separates our lot from our neighbor and soon will present a major problem. Additionally the water lines have busted leaks in two separate areas causing a major expense with both my water bill and repairs. My landscaper says the drip lines used are the cheapest possible. We were not given options upon purchase. Overall a very disappointing experience. Stay away from Poco Verde. more

About a month ago I had Poco Verde Landscpape remodel my backyard, there are no words to describe what a great job they did. They were out the next day after deciding what I wanted to replace and add. They were done with my new gorgeous landscape in 2 days.....just in time for my parents arriving from out of town. First off...I never type up reviews on anything. But after buying my new home and having Poco Verde do my landscaping I was very satisfied with the professionalism of Poco Verde Landscaping. They were always on time with estimated installation and delivery. I look forward to doing some more upgrades in my new backyard. Poco Verde Landscaping was recommended to us by Paddock Pools. We signed our pool/landscaping contract in December 2007. We were very happy with the overall landscaping design and were excited to be swimming and enjoying our new back yard well ahead of the summer heat here in AZ. Nearly six months later we are still waiting with no clear end in sight! No pool, no BBQ, no outdoor fireplace, no plants. All are in progress, but NOTHING has been completed, despite weeks of promises that we are just ""days away"".\r \r From the beginning this project has been completely mismanaged. We have repeatedly reported our concerns to upper management at Palo Verde and things improve for a few days and then the mismanagement begins anew. Things are not well planned or organized. The subcontractor is hard working, but often doesn't have the materials he needs to ensure productive work for his team, so he has stopped bringing a full crew to work. As a result - things that should be taking a few hours to complete are taking days and weeks. Although we have paid our money to Paddock (who then pays Poco Verde), the supplies we need (stone, tile, etc) are not ordered in advance. There have beem many delays due to lack of planning or things being incorrect.\r \r We were forced to cancel our Memorial day plans because we didn't have our yard done. My parents flew in from out of town this week - tickets they purchased months ago - to see our backyard, but sadly, they wasted their trip.\r \r My advice - if you are looking for a landscaping company and you want to actually get results in a resonable amount of time - choose someone else.\r \r We love to be outside and chose to go ""all out"" on our landscaping. We are spending A LOT of money and so far - we have nothing to show for it but a dysfunctional back yard and TONS of stress and frustration. more

This company does not return phone calls, will rip you off, will not replace dead plants within the warranty period until the spring since the weather isn't right, then spring is here and they tell you your warranty has expired. They are rude charge a fortune and do average work. Buyer Beware!!!!!!! more
