This is your basic Italian restaurant / pizzeria where the food is generally utilitarian though better than many, is quickly served and the menu has lots of choices. It's much more than a pizzeria based on the selections and some of the items (such as the sausage roll and the eggplant parm) are terrific. The pizza's also quite good. Some folks complain that the marinara sauce on some of the dishes is too tomatoey but that's how I like it so I can't complain. Biggest issues: some of the dishes can be dry and the prices are extreme. But the portions are hefty (you could take half home for another full meal) and their take-out delivery is quick. Also, the restaurant itself is spacious and very attractive, especially for a pizzeria. Rockaway isn't a haven for Italian ""eats"" but this place is good enough for any town. All in all, a decent Italian restaurant that's family oriented and has good food.
Pros: Atmosphere, Menu Selection, Location
Cons: Inconsistent Service, Very Pricey
