Great family restaurant 3/13/2011

great place to take the family or just go get a quick bit....the best breakfast in the renton, very friendly staff..I seem to enjoy the food more mon-fri..weekends I think have different cooks..also breakfast is better there in morning time rather then the afternoon. more

Less than I expected 7/21/2008

In Renton for a weekend and was looking for "family style" restaurant. While Plum's fits this category, I was disappointed in the low grade of food served. My dinner came with a salad that I never received, the nachos were drenched in liquid cheese and only a sprinkle of meat, salsa or sour cream. Fish and chips, and 2 kids meals should not cost 42.00. Its "Shari's" only a different name. more

Great local freshly cooked comfort foods, American style, large portions, too. Busy but seats over 50 2/13/2007

Great local Renton Highlands family restaurant. Lots of warm comfort foods. Large portion sizes, sometimes too large. Might be best to split in two with a partner. Great brown gravies. Good service, nice decor on the inside, has outdoor picnic tables for sunny July and August. Freshly made desserts, ie. cakes and pies. Great option for old "Jack's" restaurant fans. Upgraded interiors since it left "Colliery" in the past. Better foods, better chef, better decor than "Colliery". We eat there 1-2X per month. American cuisines. more
