Though Im not a vegetarian, I cannot go to the Plearn without ordering up a helping of Pad Thai J. Absent of seafood and meat, the spicy dish still has plenty of flavor with crunchy vegetables, a sprinkling of peanuts and lots of scrambled-egg bits. If three-hanky food (you can always ask the kitchen to tame the spices) isnt your cup of tea, order the sweet and sour chicken. Beautifully presented in a hollowed-out pineapple, this isnt the deep-fried version found at fast-food shops. Succulent pieces of chicken are swathed in a light, sweet sauce with crunchy hunks of pineapple and peppers. Get an appetizer or two, eat family style and theres still enough to take home for lunch the next day.
Pros: Reliably Delicious, Generous Portions, Good Service
Cons: Limited Parking
