Usually when you book an appointment at a spa, you are expecting that the service provider will show up to do the service. In fact, in many cases, if you, the customer, don't show up, they will charge you! Today I had an appointment at Plaza Cortez for a brow wax and when I arrived, the receptionist informs me that the aesthetician has left for the day and I wouldn't be able to get my service. I asked why they couldn't have called and they claimed they didn't have my name yet I provided it (read spelled out both first and last name) and I have been there before so they had my number on record. I asked to speak to the manager, who they called on the phone, and after a weak apology, she hung up the phone. This spa should be embarrassed for their lack of respect for customers.
