I have been going to Platts for the last 2 years and when I leave, I feel secure that my truck is in complete working condition. They always make my experience as pleasant as possible( let's be honest no one likes paying to fix their vehicle). I have been to Dealers in the past for repairs, just to find out they never did the work I paid for. With Ed I know the work has been done and done correctly. He guarantee's his work! more

Great shop. I get all my tires balanced and installed there. I get to watch them work and can see they do a great job. There was a minor miscommunication and they did an amazing job making sure everything was fixed and taken care. more

Wish I could give no stars but site doesn't let me... Do not believe a word they tell you. The owner only lives to rip people off. Especially the elderly. I promise you will find lower prices and better service somewhere else. I have never seen an owner who is as rude or inconsiderate as this man is. If you think a dealership will rip you off, think again. The techs are great, but they are not the ones quoting the price. Just stay away from Platt's. Pros: null Cons: null more

Beware of this guy - he consistently performs work that is not requested or authorized, doesn't provide an estimate in advance of performing work and is extremely difficult to communicate with.\r His prices are either equal to or higher than dealer pricing - why bother! more

Honesty is their policy 4/26/2010

Honesty and integrity is their motto and you can tell this is true by all the long term customers and the top of the line cars that are serviced here. Customers from other local repair shops have turned to Platt's to fix what the others could not. If cheap is what you are looking for go somewhere else but if QUALITY is what you are looking for you are in the right place!! And, come to their car care aware events and car shows bi-annually to see what I'm talking about!! Pros: ASE MASTER Technicians Cons: none more

Worst shop i ever been to Rude and a rip off 9/22/2009

went in for a oil change and then they told me i need 600 dollors worth of work and said they could do it now so i said i would think about it and took it to the dealer and they told me i didnt need all the work and it ended up costing me 125 doolors to fix the stuff that was wrong lesson learned they will never see my cars again Pros: none Cons: rip off more

Ed Platt is the best! When you have a car problem that no one else can fix, (intermittent included) this is the place to go. He is happy to talk to with you, answer all your questions and do what is necessary to insure that you are completely satisfied and that the problem never returns. If you are looking just for a bargain price, I suggest that you try somewhere else. more
