You do get what you pay for. The crowd is very disturbing. Mostly Buharians who would stare at you silently and awkwardly. There are crowds of 3-5 people who socialize while talking loudly in stead of working out. It is very distracting.
Most receptionists usually have rude manners, don't expect a positive greeting. Even the owner, Mike, wouldn't treat new members with positive attitude.
Male ""trainers"" are complete jokes with beer bellies. You would never tell by their appearance that they were physical trainers.
The only positive thing they've got is that the gym is open 24/7 and relatively inexpensive.
I believe there is much more pleasant and friendly alternative, NYSC, couple blocks east Queens Boulevard. But it does cost much more.
