Truly, do your investigating! The drs office has many false 5 star reviews done by staff and family. I had eyelid scars and a gobble neck from his thinning my cheeks. Look on .. for pics! Terrible experience, woke up alone - then a rent a nurse showed up at dark, surgery was in morning. I would not wish upon anyone what I’ve gone through. Being botched and unable to fix is not a way to live. Newer inventions and younger better surgeons everywhere compared to this man! more

If I could give him 0 stars I would. Dr. Terino is absolutely horrible. I went to him to get my nose done. I told him what I wanted several times, along with many pictures. I thought since he had "experience" he would easily be able to fix my nose. Instead, he completely botched it; didn't do one thing I told him I wanted and insisted it was just the "natural healing process." As time went on and swelling went down it looked worse and worse. He completely screwed up my bridge, nostrils, and inside of my nose. He wouldn't cover it to get fixed with a plastic surgeon I actually trusted, and insisted I let him fix it again. YEAH RIGHT. This man is far too old to be still doing plastic surgery. Do not let him touch you especially not your face!! He's down right disgusting and should be horrified with his work. more

I saw Dr. Terino's ad on Facebook and was impressed with his work. I contacted him and he asked me to send pictures of myself so he could tell me how he could improve my look. I mentioned to him that I am HIV+ along with the pictures an never heard back from him again. Two weeks later I called his office and the receptionist looked up my email and told me that it is not possible to put implants in an HIV+ person due to complications that can arise. I mentioned that I am undetectable and very healthy but that didn't make a difference. I still didn't get any response. This is bogus information because I've spoken to other plastic surgeons and they told me that as long as I am healthy and undetectable there is no likelihood of any complications. I cannot believe that in this day and age there is discrimination and ignorance from doctors, especially one that has so many certifications and graduated from an Ivy League school such as Yale. I don't think I would want a doctor that thinks like this to work on me anyway, but I thought I should make others aware of this doctor's demeanor and let you decide if you want someone with this kind thinking to work on you. The receptionist told me he would get back to me in a couple of days and he never got back to me and its been over 3 days now. At this point I don't expect to be contacted by him at all. I felt hurt and it left me feeling discriminated against because of my HIV status. more

I never thought I could still get my old self back after that horrific car accident. My nose and chin suffered the most. I said to myself, I should be getting the best Doctor in California. Then my sister suggested that I go to Dr. Terino, who is an expert in facial reconstruction. I was worried at first but then Dr. Terino spoke with confidence and I can tell he knows what he is doing. Anyway, my sister wouldn’t suggest him if he is not good. My surgery went well. After a year, I will certainly give 100% score for Dr. Terino. He was very helpful and patient during my consultation. He was very good because my face is not just back but was enhanced to the next level. I am very happy and so does my family. It made me gain my self-confident back and I am not shy anymore. Thank you so much Dr. Terino. This is the least thing I can do for all the good things you have done. I will not stop spreading the good news. You are my real-life hero. more
