Planetarium Post Office

This post office is atrocious and useless, and I can't believe it's still open. They constantly will pretend to ring our bell when we're home and then leave a ""sorry we missed you"" notice. I now cancel any items ordered online that will be sent through the post office, but one came through. They left a notice saying we weren't home while we were home (of course), then did not leave any article number on the notice, only writing ""rung bell"" in the article number section. Furthermore, they filed the package as delivered, so it is officially lost. It can't even get returned to the sender if it's listed as delivered, so I'm out of money. more

I went there to mail something yesterday and this stupid clerk didn't even know what I was doing and just told me to seal the express envelope right away. I send many express mails and have lots of experience, and I clearly knew what I was doing. Because of him, I had already put my document in the express envelope without writing the address down on another sheet. He asked me if I couldn't see what he was trying to tell me and I said I couldn't. He yelled at me told me to have some common sense. From which country does common sense mean being rude and arrogant to customers? I am only 17 years old and I live alone in Manhattan. I was trying to send my mom a letter and he not only wasted my time but also ruined my whole day. My mom told me not to go there again. The one near Lincoln centre is much better and only polite people work there. more

How much is a 44 cents stamp? You mean I have to pack and address the box MYSELF?? I cant buy a money order with a credit card? Why do I need a custom form when it just going to Germany?How many 44 cent stamps can I buy with a dollar? These are the idiotic questions that a window clerk,like myself, has to answer every day. These pathetic upper west side yahoos may be""successful ""business people, but they lack Goddamn common sense. They are narcisstic,arrogant and condescending and thier massive egos wont allow them to listen to the answers to thier questions, BECAUSE THEY KNOW IT ALL. Do us a favor, go to FED EX OR UPS AND PAY THROUGH THE NOSE. more

I dont know who these BITTER PEOPLE are but I always have a good experiance at this Post Office...and yes the lines are long and they are short of staff....But that is the way the country is going .WAKE UP you Anal Retentive folk and smell the coffee...you stand on long lines at the banks and dont complain.....you stand in lines to get ""little suzy ""that Itouch she wanted...you wait at the airports take off your shoes..deal with the RUDE people there..dont you? more

I agree with the other person. That drill sargent of a woman who goes around barking orders needs to be put in her place. They have her walking around while there are only 2 people at the window and a line out the door.. Nasty people. That spanish chick with the glasses needs to be smacked. Shes is rude and calls people honey and sweetie.. Where the f**k did you go to school? Im old enuf to be yo mamie, dont call me sweetie? Then theres the ""cupcake"" who acts like you'r ebothering him when he has to do his job. .Oh and lets not forget Miss Man with the mostache.. The staff is VERY nasty at this post office. The woman who walks around and ""gives instructions"" is very rude. The staff at the windows are always in a bad mood and god forbid you don't shut the window all the way when you give them a package. They will tell you off. I have complained about the staff at this post office and the manager called me back and insulted me further- he even used a racial slur! . There is no way to apparently get these useless jerks in trouble- so beware! I really wish to give them no stars-because they all deserve to be sucked into a black hole!
