i met jason when he worked for us car stereo in riverside i bought alot of stuff from him and that was over 7yrs ago and i found him at planet stereo in covina and he still took care of me, just put in a new head unit and speakers and i love it planet stereo is a very good shop and i beleive in jason and planet stereo and i will reconmend all my friends to planet stereo more

first of all they ripped me off, then they told me that they were going to throw some free lights in when i perchased my system. but it was all bullshit so i ended up buying some hid lights and they started to flicker. i had to wait 2 hours so they could start working on my lights. i had to go back several times on my free time and then i just gave up on going back because nothing was getting done . The bottom line is : they want you to pay up front for everything and once they have your credit card charged they do not keep their promises. I was very dissatisfied with their poorly installed speaker and even agreed to pay a restocking fee and Jason said all sales are final you signed the sales receipt. I told him I was going to dispute the charges and his reply was go ahead I have already been paid. Do not trust these guys they are out to screw you. My son, a Marine, purchased a stereo system for his car. They charged his account (for $390.00) twice. When they were informed of their error, they told him they couldn't fix it until he came into the store, a 4-hour round trip. While they had his money, several legitimate charges were presented to the bank: total overdraft charges $204.00. After first stating that they had already reimbursed him for these fees, they made me threaten them with a suit (which I am persuing) before they woud do anything. Planet Stereo finally agreed to pay for only one overdraft charge (if my son drives to their store again) but they continue to refuse to pay the other charges they cost him because of their careless business practices. It took several phone calls (they hung up on me several times) and hearing that the manager of the local store did not know how to contact the corporate office, before I was finally able to get a name and phone number. I contacted the head office, but they asked me to call back several times before admitting that they too refused to help. This appears to be a corporate-wide fault. This place is sooooo shady. The jerkoffs working there quote you ridiculously high prices then continue to lower them if you're not interested. They do terrible installs and could care less about their customers. I went in there looking for specific equipment(which they didn't have) then assumed I was an idiot and tried to get to me to buy stuff that I could find for $100sss less elsewhere. These guys have the worst customer service I have ever seen. I agree with everyone else, they are the biggest con artists I have ever seen. They talk you into buying things you don't even need; and if your thinking about buying something on credit with them, DON'T!!! They lie about the conditions; they say no payments for a year when in reality it is no interest for a year. JERKS, JERKS, JERKS!!! Ruined my credit, overcharged me, and my alarm is trash!! This fat b**tard is a con man. He sold me a Touch Screen DVD player and flip down tv an alarm system and all of this was supposed to have a lifetime warranty. None of it did. All of his stuff is refurbished and breaks down within a month. If you do not ask if it is refurbished he won't tell you. My touch screen LCD light turned off after 2 weeks and it took him 2 months to fix it. He claimed he did not have one to replace it so he made me wait. I had to get one of his dirty employees to swap it out without him knowing for $50 bucks. Also, my alarm system broke down after 3 months and he asked me for a receipt knowing that he does not give formal receipts and I told him no and he said sorry I can't fix it then. This place is a f**ken joke, I went there to get a quote for a complete system and when I came back a week later, guess what? quote was no good anymore. I asked how much would it be and they quoted me $100 dollars more so I said forget it and left. I'm driving out and this fat f**k comes running out and stops me, telling me to come in and we can work something out. Watch out for this guy, his name is Tony, hes a fat, smooth talking, middle eastern, con artist piece of s**t. This guy was born to be a salesman with his quick wit and double talk and I fell for hook, line and sinker. So we agree on the original price and he has one of his Akmeds pull the items that I wanted from a SPECIFIC list and, you guessed it, every item was wrong. All low quality items. I laughed and said, ""is this list not specific enough?"" so he apologized and pulled the right items. I should of left right there but i stayed like an idiot. After 2 days of installation, it still wasn't finished so I just took my car and left. I completed the installation on my own. Had to rewire everything due to half assed crimps, low quality connections, s**t wiring, battery cable disconnected, etc. Two months later, the head unit stopped working so I went back and they said it wasn't covered because I modified the system. I explained to them that I had to clean up their f**ked up workmanship and they said, regardless, I touched it. So I said f**k you and left. I had to send my head unit to the manufacturers for repairs on my own and thankfully its covered due to the manufacturers warranty. What a f**ken nightmare this has been.
