I was there when this place first opened. I can not, after all, resist two things...1)Anything new and exciting and 2) Pizza. Besides, I had a coupon.
I think the owner tried to establish some sort of atmosphere with his decor, though I am still not sure what he was going for. I think it was supposed to be a light-hearted sea going thing. It never really worked. There was a nifty poem about a pirate turning 40 over one of the booths which I enjoyed, the rest was rather undramatic.
The pizza itself was not too bad. I would not say it was great, but it was not disgusting either. I've had better and I've had worse.
Perhaps the atmosphere and the menu has improved a bit since I was there. It's not something I want to spend money on to find out. Unless, of course, I can find another coupon.
