I've been at Pittman's for almost two years now and as a martial arts practitioner of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, with some experience in Muy Thai Kickboxing and Russian Sambo, this is the place you want to train! It is a family-friendly environment with a very professional staff. The classes are well structured and sparse enough throughout the day/week that makes it very convenient to get your training in. The students at Pittman's are absolutely the best, eager to learn, and willing to offer advice when you need it (or ask:). If you are worried about finances, I haven't seen or heard of another place that has as flexible payment options as Pittman's! At the very least check it out! I have trained in martial arts my entire life. And I feel great about my decision to enroll my two boy's into this academy. I know that this has been extremely powerful for my family!! I do not recommend Pittman's Martial Arts, I signed my son up in February, late that month my daughter got put in the hospital and has been in and out of it. I called to explain my situation not only did I not have extra money to side from hospital bills and I had no one to take my son. They did not care and continue to take out of my bank account. I should have left my son with sang Kim. He was a wonderful man. more

I was in Lubbock on work travel and was looking for an academy to train for just a day. Mr. Klay Pittman was accommodating to my specific needs. In addition to that, the respect and level of instruction was excellent. If you are looking for an academy that focuses on the "right" things (respect, discipline, fundamentals, technique and intensity), look no further. My son has been going to Pittman's for over 18 months. We met someone at Walmart that invited us to try 30 days for free. Although it was a little unsettling, we decided to give it a try. It's the best thing we did for our son. He has become confident, focused and can protect himself. Regardless of how you find out about them, give them a try. We are very grateful we did. more
