I arrived early so they offered me some free Lentil Soup. Seeing how it was snowing outside, the soup hit the spot. I ordered falafel sandwich, hummus, and a shwarma dinner, too much food for 1 person! The dinner came with salad, rice, pita bread, sauces and hummus. The shwarma was tasty. The pita bread was good although thinner than I am use to. It was thick and pliable enough to wrap around the meat and the sauce w/o falling apart so it did its job well. Falafel was different than I have seen before. The falafel, lettuce, tomato, and tahini were rolled into the pita like an enchilada instead of placed in the pita's pocket. It was than grilled to bind the pita into its cylindrical shape. The taste of a good falafel is there; just the shape has been changed. Taste and quantity of the food: good. Service: friendly and accommodating. The price, for the quantity of food, for the friendliness, for the fact that there is little of this food this far into the suburbs, this place is a find!
