The Pita Pit is one of the newer restaurants on Franklin St. and it is not a place I would suggest going mainly because I always leave hungry, but it's not horrible. In fact they serve healthy pitas topped with whatever you want and it is not expensive. I'd say it's good for a quick lunch before class or more as an afternoon snack. more

decent food 4/16/2006

I'm not really a big fan of the Pita Pit. Every time I go there, they always put too much or too little of one ingredient in my pita, which just ruins the whole meal. The food, however, is pretty cheap, and good for you, which I guess makes up for it. I would just like for them to get my order right once! more

The Pita Pit is great for the health conscious. They offer a large number of traditional pitas, as well as Middle Eastern pitas, such as gyros and souvlakis. You can add as many topping or sauces of your choice. The prices are very reasonable and the food is filling. The only downside is that the store is small, so eating in space is limited. more
