I live in the Heather Drive/Heather Greene duplexes, and the duplexes are wonderful at first glance. HOWEVER, they have some difficulties. First, one of the closet doors came off and hit my 3 year old in the head. Second, my cats have killed (not exaggerating) at least a dozen mice that they refuse to come spray for. There are ants everywhere also, we've called many times and they won't come help. The management is rude, you are one day late on your rent and they flip out on you, even if you've never been late before. If they actually took care of their rentals, it would be great, because the places are really nice and spacious. more

TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT!!! 9/10/2011

I live in Amanda Drive duplexes and I think the duplex itself is wonderful and spacious! The area is nice and I have never had any problems with neighbors at all. WARNING! Management is terrible and rude and will never get anything done. When I looked at the duplexes the first time the man who showed me around was rude and trying to hurry me. I came back again with my boyfriend to show him the apartment and sign and pay deposit to hold it. We looked at the exact apartment we were moving into one month prior to move in, the day we moved in there were maintenance men working on everything from the electrical to the exhaust fan and even replacing light bulbs. They had a full month to do repairs and waited to do it right in the middle of move in! there were also many little things they were going to fix such as 2 closet doors, a bathroom light and a screen but that never happened. besides all the maintenance issues the place was absolutely filthy! The carpet had never been cleaned, walls were not painted, kitchen floor looked like it had never been washed and there were bugs in the bathtub and sink! While doing a walkthrough with Robin she was writing the previous damages and only mentioned a small amount of things and then left. she never gave me time to inspect for myself, everyother place I lived they let you fill out the sheet so that you can point out every single nail hole and stain. So i am sure that they are going to get me on my deposit because they were too hurried to let me inspect. Most recently the element went out in my stove, I am a cake decorator on the side and rely on that money to pay my bills. It happened on a sunday so I knew they would be closed but I left a message anyway. It was not until I called again on tuesday and left a message that someone stopped over, I was gone while they never contacted me to tell me they were coming (makes me feel unsafe that they can just walk in anytime). they took the element out of the oven and left a note saying don't use (duh!) It has been almost two weeks and I constantly call them but there is either no answer (and no return call for my messages) or else they are unaware of what is going on! I am soooo sick of being jerked around! I have had to cancel cake orders since I don't have an oven and will now struggle to pay my rent on time because of it! Please don't rent here, find a place that will treat you right and be responsible for their actions! more

Do not move here!! 5/24/2011

I live in Ashley Square the duplexes are big and roomy. The managements very rude. The company hires ex cons that have complete and total access to your home. So if you move in make sure you change the locks. Anthony Holcomb one of their employees stole a master key and broke into our home and about 27 others. If something breaks be prepared to live with it or half it half way fixed. Beware of pinnacle properties more

Nice Properties with terrible management 8/30/2010

I love the place I live, but cringe every time that I have to deal with the management. It is obvious that they only care about the money that goes into their pockets. The lady who is in charge of the office seems to scare off all of the employees that they find. I feel bad saying all of this about a home that I love, but nothing gets done around here and it seems as though everything is an excuse to charge the tenants more money. more

Pinnacle Properties - Ashley Square- Don't Do It!!! 9/24/2007

Upon reviewing and selecting an apartment, I asked if the set of washer and dryer from an earlier unit could be moved to my unit, they didn't all have washer and dryer. No problem supposedly. I got the washer and dryer two weeks after I moved in. During a second walk through of the apartment. I found that the carpet had not been cleaned, the day before I was to move in the unit. I went to the office and questioned if the unit had been cleaned. The carpet was cleaned two hours before close that day. During the move-in walk through, I found the appliances had not been cleaned. There was grease dripping from the hood over the stove. The eyes of the stove were wobbly because of using the wrong grease catches. The refrigerator had an ice-maker, but no water line. Thrash on the floor under and behind the stove. I had to clean the place myself and found that a whole bottle of syrup had spilled on the floor under the stove and stuff that would make you gag. The apartment had not been painted. I knew I needed a copy of the inspection, but they said they would send me a copy. Never received it. My mistake, BIG MISTAKE!!! I paid a $400 deposit, all deposits and $625 rent. I moved in the apartment, signed my lease, not knowing it was for 13 months. While living there, sewage backed up into the apartment and flooded the bathroom, kitchen and living-room carpet. It didn't damage any of my furnishings. Lightening struck and fried my computer, answering machine and a second phone. I paid the last month's rent, moved out a month early and hoped I would finally be done with Pinnacle Properties. I requested a move out inspection, but never got it. I knew that wasn't good. Pinnacle Properties sent me a letter of forfeit of my deposit and stated I owed $156 for painting, cleaning and a sewage balance. Can you say ARBITRATION!! I'm posting this for the benefit of anyone who might be thinking about moving into a Pinnacle Properties managed property. You can do way better!!!! Pros: Outside grounds look good on some properties Cons: Management is really incompetent. more
