Gross. I don't understand how anyone eats this stuff. It tastes like plastic fluff. With so many good yogurt places around now find another one. more

Wrong Order & They Got Mad 12/31/2008

It really is overrated! I tried to get a job there. There was a kid interviewing me. I didn't know who goes there. So I bombed it. Plus, they got my order wrong. They got mad at me like it was fault! Cons: Parking more

tasty, addicting ........ 7/13/2008

Went there for the first time yesterday , yes there was somewhat of a line . The first bite is not that great , kind of tangy. But each bite tastes better and better. Whats in this stuf??? You just keep comeing back for more. It is a little pricy , but oh so good. Pros: good, convenient Cons: sweet more

Hallelujah! Pinkberry in The Valley! 7/11/2008

I used to work in Studio City, so I was so happy when I discovered Pinkberry was also in The Valley. The creamy, zesty, slightly lemon-flavored taste of its plain yogurt is uniquely refreshing, especially during those hot, Valley summer days. The store also currently offers green tea and coffee flavors, as well as a variety of fruit, candy and cereal toppings (including Fruity Pebbles!). Diners sit inside or in front of the store in funky, chucky plastic chairs that are just as cool as the yogurt. This Pinkberry my favorite place to go for dessert in The Valley. Pros: ice cream, topping choices Cons: slightly pricey, parking lot can sometimes get crowded more

Over-Rated!! 6/25/2008

Ok, so I finally decided to see what Pinkberry was all about and I am not impressed. Their yogurt has a wierd aftertaste that was so strong and nasty, I literally had to chew gum after I ate the yogurt to get rid of it. PLus, did you get a look at their fruit toppings? The raspberries have mold on them and were all smashed and the bananas were brown!!! YUCK! I heard it's not even frozen yogurt and I cannot understand why people would wait in line for this fake soft serve. I really don't care who came first in the froyo world, but do a blind taste test and Snowberry and Red Mango taste MUCH better! Pros: I can't come up with any... Cons: NASTY AFTERTASTE more

A Most Refreshing Treat during a Most Blazing Heat 6/19/2008

Pinkberry has revolutionized and rejuvenated the frozen yogurt craze with its sour/ sweet combo of delightful soft served yogurt. The original flavor is one of three flavors (green tea and coffee are the other flavor options), that the popular yogurt haven offers, and patrons can top it with fresh fruit, chocolate chips or cereal bits. The taste more closely resembles that of acutal yogurt than the sweet, creamy scoops offered by other faves like Golden Spoon and Yogurt Zone, but the tart flavor is catching on and showing up in all sorts of yogurt establishments. There is nothing better to taste on a hot, summer day than a nice cup of pinkberry original yogurt with berries and chocolate chips--yumm! Pros: Refreshing and Delightful Dessert/Snack Cons: expensive- for yogurt more

Love it 6/16/2008

I love pinkberry! I am a total fanatic. My favorite is mochi with granola, and sometimes strawberry. A bit overpriced compared to other places but still good! more

No thanks. 2/20/2008

Not at all a fan of this yogurt joint. Aside from the fact that it is very elite-like and stuck up, I just found out that they use this artificial powder and water to make their supposedly one-of-a-kind yogurt...not ok with me! A small yogurt with a topping or two is way too much money, I'd much rather go to another yogurt place that has the same flavored yogurt (and probably a wider selection) for a much better price, and one that uses natural all ingredients. Pros: Ambience Cons: Price, Ingredients more

ONE MORE GATHERING OF NUMB-MINDED TREND-RATS! 6/28/2007

Yes, yes, yes. Pinkberry's trendy as hell. Its decor falls somewhere between that of an IKEA cafeteria & a Tokyo nightmare & the lines are out the door. I'm most familiar with the establishment on Vermont in Los Feliz but friends in New York say it's a hotspot there as well. The place is packed all day & night. Glassy-eyed hipsters wander out into the street with trays of the stuff. I tried it twice & personally found the ""yogurt"" to taste like a tarnished silver spoon. But maybe that's just me. Here's something: The yogurt they serve is delivered to the place in powdered form. And there's word it's not fat-free. Their website currently offers a vague assurance of wholesomeness but notes the company is ""investigating"" recent inquiries into the nature of the product (see ""About "" at www.pinkberry.c_m). So, if you're after a low calorie, ""fat-free"" wretched mystery then climb on board - the ship of fools is hoppin' - but be sure to wear your black All-Stars if you want a seat at the cool table. \r My humble suggestion (for those in the Los Feliz area)... cowboy up fattys & check out the Hollywood Gelato Co. on Hillhurst. Gelato's not fat-free either but it's significantly richer yet healthier than ice cream (due to the making process & the fact it's key ingredient is milk rather than cream) & there's way more than two flavors to choose from. \r In closing, it is my firm belief that the sooner we shake baseless trends, crucify mediocrity in the parking lots of shopping malls & demand good products the better off we'll be as a race. That said, let's hope Pinkberry shortly packs the powder in its bags & takes the dopey hordes with 'em.\r - J_James Pros: It's not a US Army Recruiting Center Cons: It IS Pinkberry more

Delicious dessert! 6/9/2007

Pinkberry is a breath of fresh air! The yogurt isn't the US style sweetened ice-cream type yogurt - instead, it tastes much like European plain yogurt and as a Brit born and raised, I've fallen in love with Pinkberry. Yes, it's a little pricey, but it's so gooooood. Pros: Good yogurt! Cons: snooty clientele, no parking, slightly pricey more

Love the berries! 2/16/2007

After recently jumping on the Pinkberry bandwagon, I'm very pleased with their amazing shaved ice dishes. While they are a little pricey (7.50 for plain, 6.75 for green tea), they are highly addictive and large enough to share. My only complaint came when I asked to trade bananas (which my girlfriend despises) for berries and they all told me that I'm ""not allowed"" to alter the shaved ice dishes. How is this possible in a place designed to allow the customer to create their own dessert? Don't make me go back to the closer ""Humphrey's Yogart"" that I've abandoned for you... more

I am obsessed! 1/7/2007

Pinkberry, formerly only located in West Hollywood, is now serving up their delicious yogurt in the valley! Their yogurt is like traditional frozen yogurt. It has a slightly sour, not-too-sweet taste similar to that of Vanilla or Plain storebought yogurt. They offer two flavors, plain or green tea. You can choose a wet or dry topping. Wet toppings include kiwi, pomegranate seeds, mango, strawberry, etc. Dry toppings range from oreos, chocolate chips, and fruity pebbles to cap'n crunch and coconut shavings. In short, I love this place! The decor is totally fun, with bright walls and plastic furniture. It's always busy but I've never had to wait very long for my tasty treat. I've gone every day this past week! Pros: Taste, Ambience more

what did we do before pinkberry? 12/9/2006
