I wanted clip in extensions and my stylist at the pink pony tail worked with me to pick clip in extensions using the best quality of real hair. Not only did my stylist pick good quality hair for me, but she also matched the hair color to my hair exactly! She then clipped in the hair for me, cut it so it would blend in with my hair, and then curled it with an iron. She showed me step by step how to get the most natural look. I looked like a brunette version of the Kardashians. All my friends think I look absolutely amazing... thanks to the helpful and friendly staff at the pink pony tail. That was my first experience but I will definitely go back. :) more

I was referred to this salon by a friend, and wanted a fresh, new look. I was looking for a stylist who could really listen to me, and make some good suggestions. Michael was wonderful, he asked about my time frame for styling at home, my lifestyle, and my personal taste. With this in mind, he suggested a style that is easy to maintain, yet has the sophistication I need for my work. I feel that it compliments my personal style,and I get compliments on my hairstyle constantly. I couldn't have chosen a better, more appropriate style myself. I love it.\r Michael gave my hair 100% of his attention while I was in his chair, gave me styling and care advice, and sent me home with some samples of suggested products without attempting to sell me anything additional. When I tried to schedule a touch up on the cut for a month later, he insisted that I only needed this every eight weeks instead, and I truly appreciate this honesty. He was funny and entertaining while working on my hair, and his demeanor was extremelly professional. For a woman who is tired of trying to find a stylist who can relate to my needs, I am so relieved to have found one I feel so comfortable going to. I will trust Michael to cut, color, and style my hair for as long as he is available, and I will recommend him to anyone I know who is searching for the right stylist for themselves. With my busy schedule, it is a weight off of my shoulders not to have to worry about my appearance like I used to. I was refer to the salon by my brother girlfriend and she told me about her stylist his name was Michael.He was funny and very creative in doing my hair..He made me feel very special and made me laugh all the time..He is GREAT. I went there after having yet again a really bad haircut. I went there hoping to find a good hairdresser. I did!! His name is Michaeal. He did a really good job & made my hair look great! I have very thick hair, it's a Cuban/Puerto Rican thang. A very high class, high end salon. It's a very comfortable atmosphere with friendly faces. The service is excellent! I've never had any issues or problems there. I'm always seen at the time of my appointment with very happy results. What I love most about that salon is that they are not pushy or unprofessional with regards to customer care, sales or service. I have been getting my hair done at the Pink Ponytail Hairsalon for years! I absolutely love the staff, the service, the ambiance. Everything about Pink Ponytail is excellent. I have gone from a brunette, to a blonde, to having jet black hair... to having curly hair and then stick straight hair... and i have loved the outcome every time! i have gone to different stylists in Pink Ponytail and i've never had a problem with any of them. I was really surprised to read about the persons comment below about unprofessionalism. I disagree 100%. As a matter of fact, I tried a few different salons because I moved to Miami but in the end, I felt most comfortable with the Pink Ponytail. I now drive from Miami to Coral Springs just to have the Pink Ponytail experience. Its worth the drive! Oh, and i love that they always have coffee available and on saturdays they offer bagels or cake. The best! I have been to the Pinkponytail for the last 3 years and I have never had a problem or been disappointed. The Salon looked beautiful and alway has a friendly smile when i walk into there door. I was amazed at what i had just read about them and wanted to say I have never had my back soak and have used all there stylist .Even the one that used two Hairdryers and never had a bad hair cut, they are all good.The owners of that salon have alway been fair with me even when I didn't like the shampoo i purchase they replaced it with one that was better for my hair...I have recommend my friends to them and they loved the salon also. The salon looked nice and the receptionist was friendly. But that were the only good things about this place. I?ve read the review about this salon and thought it was worth giving it a shot. I had much higher expectations, but only came out highly disappointed. \r \r First off, the shampoo assistant was poor. Not only did she do a poor job washing my hair, she managed to soak the back of my shirt. When I asked for a towel to dry it, there was no apology from her whatsoever. I can not believe that she did not notice that it was wet and that I was trying to dry it, but only got brushed off to my seat. To me, she lacked experience and professionalism. \r \r The hairstylist was not much better. Not to mention that he seemed to me that he lacked technique, but it felt like he was manhandling my head half the time. I had to flinch a few times from the hairdryers (yes plural, he used two, which was fine by me if he wasn?t trying give me second degree burns to my scalp), but he seemed to be oblivious. I asked for a layered cut, but it was anything but layered. But the worst part was that it was uneven, one side longer than the other. \r \r Overall, it was the worst experience I?ve ever had in a salon. I?ve had cheaper haircuts that came out ten times better. I can overlook some of its shortcomings if the haircut were at least decent. I do not recommend this salon, however, when I was paying, I?ve heard positive comments from a customer who was also paying.
