An inexpensive pit stop place to stay. On the positive side - Senery was beautiful. Enjoyed the garden area. People were pleasant. We were satisfied.

The staff was very helpful and friendly making the stay a success. We stayed two non-consecutive nights on the lower floor which opened onto a large grassy area. The room was quiet great TV. The location is right off Yellowstone which cuts a diagonal through that section of town. I asked for a map of Idaho Falls and soon was able to get around easily. Don't forget to see the Falls! There is a great little Mexican restaurant around the corner on Anderson. more

Comfortable stay , enjoyed our two nights stay at this inn in idaho falls, before coming back to washington. Decent room. good breakfast , and very affordable price in very expensive idaho falls, got a good backyard and an open swimming pool. nice and clean more

Friendly, quiet, clean, not hard to find your way to major areas. Services were very good and the room above satisfactory. The continental breakfast was worth waking up to and the workers were very friendly and courteous. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. more

Attractive, comfortable room, and lots of extras - a central courtyard with pool, whirlpool, and exercise equipment. Continental breakfast was nice. We felt we got a very good value for the money. more

The staff has always been accomodating during my stays. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Not the Ritz, but affordable to those of us on a tight shoestring budget. Will be staying there again more

Personal at front desk outstanding, courteous, responded to our every request with out hesitation, pleasant to talk to, overall a great experience 5 star., Maid service & breakfast we have stayed in a lot of hotels/motel and the service rates the best. The bedding was like being home.?over all the management have some good knowledge of running a hotels/motel. more

Very convenient for us, and a lot of extras for a good price, microwave, fridge, an actual lawn area with our own patio door going out. For all of our outdoor activities, rafting, golf, biking, this was a convenient location. It's not new, sort of from the 70's, but everything worked great, and we liked the whole set up there. more

This is a company were the customer is still important. The rooms are very clean, well cared for and Secure. The employees are very helpful. Concerned about making sure that you are taken care of. Very Polite and Courteous. When traveling we will stay at Pinecrest again. Because of their great service. more

This motel really emphasizes the meaning of what budget hotel means. Quiet and clean rooms , with superfast wi fi and decent amenities. Nice convenient location going to Yellowstone and great open courtyard landscape. Decent enough for what we paid, recommended for families and travellers more

Considering Idaho springs is quite expensive . This motel is fine, Pay for what you get . It seems to be price set around here and this place sets you right . It's cheap and cheerful. more

Hotel is fairly large 8/3/2011

The hotel is essentially downtown Idaho Falls by a large park, somewhat far away from the freeways, but it is also the cheapest non-chain within a 150 miles of Yellowstone. You can expect basic amenities, and a friendly staff. The hotel is actually fairly large and has a motel style layout but with indoor corridoors that can become creepy at night due to the dim lighting. The rooms are on the small side and worn out, but clean. The inside courtyard is absolutely beautiful and very well maintained. Most lower level rooms offer patio access to the shared giant backyard. more

Highly recommend this place 7/26/2011

It was a long drive with the kids , just before checking in , i decided to check the reviews after seeing the Hotel, and was depressed by the review before. So i thought not to stay and was mean to the Front desk guy and demanded a refund without seeing the room. The employee with a friendly smile , asked us to see the room first and then decide. But to our greatest surprise the room was very clean , well kept and had all amenities. I went back and apologized and he said it was OK , and the previous review was posted by competitors. I decided that i'll never check on reviews and go look at the room myself and then decide on staying or not. The Pool was clean and nice I'm really sorry for my behavior Pinecrest Inn. I highly recommend this place, and would love to come back. more
