The Pineapple Tea Room is a cute little place in historic downtown Apex. When you first enter you are greeted with a very large array of tea accessories, cute little knick knacks, and pineapple things. In the back is where you can have a cup of tea and treats. I had their scones with a peach white tea. Those scones were the best I have ever had. To get you more in the "high tea" mood are lady hats and fur stoles. If you want to have a bigger snack like a sandwich, they offer that if you schedule ahead. You also have a very wide variety of teas to choose from. The ladies there are helpful if you don't know where to start. You'll find great tea items/accessories for those who love tea. more

The BEST Tea Room in Research Triangle!!! 9/7/2005

This is such a wonderful tea room! The ladies who run it treat every customer with friendliness, consideration, and lots of special attention. Their tea selections are fantastic, especially the Wedding Blend. They serve delicious scones, clotted cream & jam, and sandwiches – everything so delicate and divine. They have lots of cute hats for customers to wear in there during tea. Definitely a great place to have a girl tea – I had a bridesmaid’s tea there and it was perfect. Just don’t get a group too big, the room is a bit small. 8 max is my suggestion. more
