Pine Tavern Restaurant

Have been here many times and always bring out of town family and friends here. It's a Bend icon!!! Food is always delicious, service has always been good. Out of towners are always amazed at the two huge pine trees growing in the middle of the restaurant. Pros: good food, good service, good ambience Cons: The wait can be lengthy, but worth it. more

I have been to the Pine Tavern many times and it is always wonderful...the hot scones and honey butter alone make it worth the drive from Portland! We are always seated promptly and have execellent service--I have yet to have anything that I did not enjoy. Pros: Service, scones more

We went here with a large family group (11). We made reservations (which I highly recommend) and unlike MANY other restaurants we've made reservations at, The Pine Tavern was ready for us and we were immediately seated. The ambience is amazing. It is beautifully decorated with amazing art displays throughout. The interior is richly appointed in wood and although it is dark, it feels well-lit. In the rear of the restaurant are two HUGE trees (living) that extend upward through the roof. Amazing! The food was fantastic. We had several different appetizers (all great!)--and the famous sour-dough scones with honey butter. In our party, we had pasta, steaks and seafood. EVERYONE loved their meal. The service was first-rate. We never had to wait for anything. I highly recommend this restaurant. You will not be disappointed. The food, service & general feel of this longtime resturant is great! they`re famous for their scones & honeybutter, but also, give the daily specials a try. When possible, do the outside dining for a pleasant experience. Pros: relaxing, nice selection more
