I attended 2 out of the 10 classes -I was told via phone- I had to sign up for the 10 sessions to receive the intro. rate. *After reviewing the website, I realized I could have ...

Sachiko Glass is the best physical therapist in Seattle. 9/17/2006

I highly recommend Sachiko Glass at Pilates International. I was in an auto accident a year ago and had been to 3 other Physical therapists. Sachiko was by far the best of the therapists. She is highly knowledgeable and accomplished. She employs a wide range of techniques. Not only is she a top notch PT, she also has a reputation as a fabulous Pilates instructor. If that isn't enough, she is also a wonderful human being!\r I originally chose Pilates International because its close to my house. The studio is not one of those trendy, snobby places. It is straighforward and no nonsense. The facilities are clean and feature good equpment. Pros: Sachiko Glass Cons: Although the price is average for Seattle, it's not cheap! more

Knowledgeable, caring, service-oriented staff 3/14/2006

Having never done Pilates, I was a little intimidated by the equipment and the instructors, and also the prices of private sessions -- but it's all worth it! As soon as I was on the equipment, I felt at ease because my instructor's attention was completely focused on me and my body and how to best make every exercise work for me. I was blown away at how such little movement could make me so sore and get such a great workout! The staff is always very helpful and the Front Desk is quick to anticipate my workout needs and it seems like they really care about getting me on the schedule when I'd like to be in. Overall, a great studio -- the best in Seattle as far as I'm concerned. Pros: friendly staff, great instructors, well-established Cons: space needs updating more

Awesome staff, Beautiful mat space!! 11/22/2005

I was referred to this studio from a co-worker and it's been a great experience. Friendly, VERY knowlegable staff, flexible scheduling, and the workouts are really fun! They just remodled and the locker rooms are much more spacious and now have a shower. Also, the mat classes are held in a wonderful upstairs naturally lit space with lots of windows. I love taking the rush hour mat classes right after work! Pros: extensive staff, flexible schedule, fun!! Cons: only street parking more

Helpful staff 7/25/2002

I've been attaining mat class regularly and I love it! The staff is very helpful and you get the necessary attention from the instructor. The place needs some change. It is a bit small and it requires a good air-conditioning system. The locker rooms are too small. The prices are high. But I would still recommend this place for their experienced staff. more
