I am on Citysearch all the time and get out often into nightlife and daylife and this is the first review I have ever taken the time to write. (tap tap) Is this thing on? The Pike is like my second home. I come for breakfast (big ups to the veggie fritata) or lunch (shout out to the blackened mahi mahi sandwich, ceviche, and steak fries) on the weekends, and end up there for about 4-6 hours (Casey, Brad and Dusty have plenty to do with that. I love you guys. They are the three best living things ever kept behind a bar. Keep the drinks and jokes coming!) The wait staff is extremely friendly, fun, and unpretentious. You can't beat the jukebox selection, and have to give them major props for refusing to convert to that digital juke system to which all the sell out bars have succomed. This place is sucka-free! The food is amazing with that very homemade touch (I swear they are holding somebody's shore-raised half Mexican grandma hostage in the back), not to mention their non-measured vodka proportioned Bloody Marys and refreshing Mimosas. The bike riding crowd can also be found more than happy to give their petals a break and put their kickstands to work at the plentiful racks in the front of the restaurant. Everyone in the restaurant f(rom families to freefallers) treats you like a friend. The come as you are vibe, warm reception by both the staff and the honoraries (regulars such as myself), diverse crowd from goth to punk to hip hop to homely make this place a hidden gem that is here to stay. The jukebox hero lives on!
Pros: Fab wait staff, Excellent jukeboxwelcoming, diverse crowd and menu
Cons: Breakfast ends at 1pm, and only served on weekends, no veggie sausage/bacon
