Piedmont Fayette Hospital

Sadly I will not be giving any stars at all!!!! I went in for Gall Bladder pain and once i got there the people up front were very nice, then I got in the back there was a couple nice nurses, as for the doctor (Paula Brathwaite) she was HORRIBLE! She came in talked to me, PUSHED ON MY STOMACH REALLY HARD SEVERAL TIMES! After telling her it hurt really bad, I understand one time to get the general feel, but muplitiple times was out rageous! Then she said she was waiting on my records from another hosptial about 14 miles away! Whcih they faxed over probably about thirty mins later! I sit in that room for over four hours watching this so called (DR) sitting on her ass, just chatting away with other nruses! When she finally came in she bascially told me she couldnt find anything wrong (YET SHE DID NOTHING, BUT PUT IN A IV! ) Then I got pretty upset sitting there for that long with no test ran NOTHING, so I questioned her, the other nruses in the nurses station were laughing at me! There is a huge sign that says RESPECT?!!!! NONE of these so called nurses or doctors gave me respect! As I was leaving I heard them laughing some more and poitning at me talking about me. Which is very childish! If you want REAL treatment and doctors who care about you and what is going on! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE AT ALL, ESPECIALLY THIS DOCTOR (PAULA bRATHWAITE) IF YOU WANT TO GET TREATED LIKE SH** THEN FEEL FREE GO! I PLAN TO PUT HER NAME OUT THERE AND LET AS MANY PEOPLE AS I CAN KNOW HOW HORRIBLE OF A PERSON SHE IS, ALONG WITH THOSE TWO NURSES! OH ONE MORE THING, IF YOUR IN PAIN YOU CAN FORGET ABOUT GETTING THAT TOOK CARE OF AS WELL! more

Let me start by saying that after I read the horrible reviews, I was very hesitant about going to Piedmont Fayette. But I was feeling horrible and decided to go anyway. I got there around 9:30 last night. I was taken back within 45 minutes. I had a sore throte and chest pain when I coughed. They looked @ my throte and did some chest Xrays, and drew some blood. They gave me pain medicine thru an IV, with fluids and also a huge shot b/c I have really bad strep throte. I was VERY pleased with the professionalism, the very short wait time, and how attentive the nurses and staff were to my needs and making sure I was comfortable. I left around 1:15, and there was not ONE person left in the waiting room to be seen. It was empty! When I got there, there was at least 20-30 people there, and alot of kids. I would definitely recommend anyone to go to Piedmont Fayette! The only time people write reviews is when they arent happy about something.... thats why Im here today to tell you to try them out for yourself before you base your opinion on what others have said. 5 Stars for Piedmont Fayette\r \r more
