Best gourmet store/ butcher shop in New York 7/3/2006

Meats better then Whole Foods, selection of olive oils and vinegars impressive beyond belief. You can order any meat, any cut, any time if you don't see it on display. I order fresh foe gras once - it was amazing. The best lamb and rib eye I can find anywhere. They also age their own porter house. The best fresh mozarella I've ever had in any of the top restaurants in the city. Pros: they can get you any kind of meat you imaginable Cons: a bit pricy more
