Great Food, Service and Variety 4/26/2007

I was lured by the great reviews and was blown away by the authenticity and variety here. I will be a regular soon and already thinking of what to eat next time. The fried squid and dry fried noodle dishes are a rare find in this odd corner of norcross. This place was hard to find since it is way in the back of a deep set plaza up on a hill on ptree parkway where goodwill is located. The bun and pho are delicious too. I liked the sauces and watch out for the spicy hot sauce. It was really spicy ! They offer real cantonese chinese and real vietnamese dishes. Thank you for being there because now I do not need to drive all the way to Chamblee / Doraville : ) Great place for business casual, one to ones, and even families. They also have a private room in the back. Restroom was clean too which is very important to me. Pros: Food, Variety, Authenticity, Parking, Service, Location Cons: Hidden Treasure more

Not the best I've had 3/7/2007

Phoenix was alright. I've been here a few times and I've gotten different dishes everytime. The portions are nice, but their tofu wasn't all that great. Their pho was ok and their spring rolls were way too cold. If yuo're gonna keep them chill, don't stick them in the freezer! Pros: price, location, atmosphere more

Best pho around, clean, attentive service 12/25/2006

I am a regular at this restaurant for good reason. They have amazing pho bowls that come to you quickly and hot. Their menu is huge and I have yet to try everything on it, but everything I have had from the crushed rice plates to the cantonese selections have been wonderful. The service is attentive and sincere and I've never had a problem after eating here for over a year. I highly recommend trying several different menu items if you go there with friends to see what you like the most. My favorite are the pho noodle bowls. Pros: Huge menu, awesome sauces, pho bowls more

Best Noodle Soup!!! Its just so TASTY!!! 7/10/2006

I cannot count the times I have eaten here. I order the D01 Noodle Soup or PHO. Its the best. The wait staff is friendly and always there to assist. The soup comes out with the best flavor, its just that tasty. Add a smoothie and your off. Prices are great. I think this is one of the best hidden gems in the Norcross area. Pros: D01 Noodle Soup Cons: No After Lunch Mints, but they have toothpicks more

Just Excellent! 1/24/2006

Food is excellent, service is fast and courteous, highly recommended. Pros: bubble drinks, food, service more

True Gem 12/27/2005

This restaurant hides itself in an unassuming plaza amidst Norcross office parks, but is truly a gem of a pan-Asian restaurant. Compared to most ""authentic"" pan-Asians on Buford highway or anywhere else, Phoenix is actually clean and serves a well-thought-out menu that caters to both Asian and Western palates, without the rampant use of grease and ""MSG"". Its success probably owes much to the chef, Thien, whom I suspect has had formidable formal training--because the sauces truly are ridiculously divine. Nothing tastes cheap or over-seasoned. Vegetables are cooks to the perfect doneness, and ingredients are fresh. The only con is I find its pho flavor slightly reserved compared to Buford counterparts, and uses less fatty meat (meaning less tasty). The sauces of this restaurant along is worth a special trip. more

Damn Tastiness 6/16/2005

This is the best restaurant ever! Every single item on the menu is freakin awesome. I can't stand not going to this place. It is so addictive. The food there is fresh and prepared most excellently. I haven't had a meal there that I didn't enjoy thoroughly yet and I go there all the time. I have tried practicaly the whole menu. And the sauces there. I have been to many other asian restaurants, but the Phoenix Noodle Cafe has the best, most tastiest sauces out of the whole lot of them. Don't forget to try the smoothies ... It just keeps getting better .. every single time. Go there .. do it now! Pros: Great Food, Fresh Food, Well Prepared Food more

Favorite Noodle House! 10/13/2004

Love this place! It's not even a year old and already attracting regulars. The food and the establishment itself is not what you would expect from a typical family owned noodle house. The decor was what hit us first. It was clean and modern, with the side wall lined with huge prints of people downing the remains of their noodle meal, their faces covered by the bowl. It was creative and fitting. The pho here is good, but what stands out for us are the non-common items such as spicy beef stew noodle soup and satay noodle soup, these have thick, full of flavor sauces. The vermicelli noodles can come with lemon grass chicken, this was unbelievably tender and tasty. They also offer bubble tea with rice, tofu, meat and stir fried dishes. You can have a very filling meal here for two for less than $15! Pros: food, great value, modern decor more
