We were looking for a new place that was covered by our insurance for help with depression/anxiety for our teenager. He was being seen by a different psychiatrist but felt the $140/hour ouch and knew that we'd probably be playing with his medicines until we got it right. Our first visit at Philmont was to meet the counselor which you need to do before you meet the psychiatrist (Dr. Hartman). For our second visit, the office called the wrong house to remind us of our appointment and, what are the odds, left the message on my teenager's friends home answering machine whose phone numbers were one digit off from ours (so now someone knew they were being seen by a psychiatrist), the third visit with the doctor wasn't so bad....however, a few weeks later our family hit a crisis. I left a message for Dr. Hartman (never returned by phone call) and left two with his office staff....never heard from the man! I wouldn't count on this place if you are having any real issues.
