This office is absolutely horrible. I was suggested to this doctor's office by a family member because of what lovely things she had to say about the doctor she had while pregnant; however, I was met with nothing but rude attitudes and unprofessionalism. I am pregnant with my first child and anxious about going to an office. Due to family circumstances I have been unable to see a doctor within the vast majority of the first trimester, though I made it a priority to see one. I was asked routen questions by an LPN (can't remember her name) one of those questions being "were you on birth control." Though this lady doesn't know me, I still expected a little bit more professionalism than what followed. I responded "no." (again, NOT my choice, my family doesn't believe in birth control, had it been an option I would've been on it!!) She then asked me when I found out I was pregnant, I responded, "Ma'am, I honestly can't remember the date, I was honestly stressed and figured I was late." Her response, in the most smartassed and sarcastic tone, was, "Well, that's what happens when you aren't on birth control!" That afternoon I decided to switch to a different office because of this and other unprofessionalism shown by the office/nursing staff. I then came back to sign paperwork and the office staff named Victoria, who had previously been nice, assisted me. I told her how I was treated by the LPN and she said NOTHING. Not a single "I'm sorry for your experience," not even a "have a good day." I am 17 years old, and though I understand these people have NO clue the life I have lived or what I have been through, they showed no professionalism in trying to carry on in a service-oriented manner. Being that I was treated in this way, there is no telling how this office will treat other young women seeking care, especially in "special" circumstances.
