Philipp Justin DDS

Last week I had a misfortune of acquiring dental expertise of Dr. Justin Philipp.\r I was told that my problem was not very serious (not painful at all!) and can be easily corrected by strengthening the tooth structure with a crown at cost of $689.00. Next day, with a lightning speed of about 10 minutes of his participation Philipp removed some 80-85% of the tooth and left me at the mercy of his not so competent hygienist who for the next hour or so struggled with my bleeding and applying a temporary crown.\r Few hours later the temporary crown came off and I found myself in excruciating pain.\r I came back to the dental office where the same hygienist attempted to secure two different temporary crowns on three separate occasions with no lasting results. Finally she presented me with a little pocket of dental cement and implied that I shouldn’t be coming back until the permanent crown comes in.\r Dr. Philipp could not be bothered. After five days of severe pain, with very little food and sleep, I decided to seek a second opinion evaluation. It turned out that for lack of competence and/or malicious intend the tooth was mistreated and fixing the problem will require extensive dental work at cost several times higher than the initial estimate from Dr. Philipp.\r \r What can I say… I wish I could write a glorious praises for Philipp like the other ‘personalities’ here but I cannot. more

My cleaning was done with the most professionalism required and I was made to feel that my teeth were cleaned well at home so there was not a lot of extra work for the tech. Dr. Philipp checked my teeth and made the same comment. He and his staff are very friendly and make you want to come back to see them. It is nice to have a good feeling when going to the dentist.\r more

The doctor put me completely at ease before the procedure and even emailed back to answer some questions I had. He and his staff are always very helpful and friendly.\r more

Our family had a great experience at Dr. Phillips office. The kids has fun, and we felt the prices were reasonable.\r more

This appointment was for a regular cleaning. My husband just retired and we lost our insurance from work. We were offered in-house insurance so we would be able to continue with Dr. Philipp. We were not in any way pushed into taking this insurance but we accepted because it was more reasonable than most insurances we have looked into.\r more

For those who are anxious and uneasy about dental appts, this is the perfect dental office to calm those feelings.All staff were professional, informative,and respectful. I am very satisfied with J . Philipp Aesthetic Family Dentistry.\r more

I hadn't been to the dentist in over 5 years and was very nervous. All of the staff was very kind and considerate. At no time did I feel judged or ridiculed. Everything went well and LaJoy had no problems. She did have a small piece of a chipped tooth come out when she cleaning her teeth the first time. I am assuming it is part of the tooth being prepared for the new crown ?\r more

Overall professionalism and workmanship was outstanding; however, this was the first time in about 7 years that my blood pressure wasn't taken. Not a deal breaker, but noteworthy. Also, I was not asked if I had taken my pre-med; which I had, even though it was noted on my medical form. Dr. Philipp was very personable, along with his staff. My hygienist was extremely friendly and thorough answering all my questions. Will most likely go back for additional procedure.\r more

When I first arrived I was very stressed. The staff as well as the Doctor changed all of that as they treat you as a special patient and friend. All my questions were answered, all procedures were explained in ways I could understand and the explanations of further dental needs as well as the costs and the savings were explained in detail. I never felt rushed, in fact as I was leaving the office I was actually looking forward to my next appointment, my stress was gone.\r more
