Philipe's Day Spa

Call me an idiot, but I keep going back... and EVERY TIME I have a bad experience!!!!!!!!!!! The professionals providing the services give great massages, facials, pedis, etc, but the front desk staff is a joke. They just can't seem to get it together, and they make it your fault... After waiting 30 minutes PAST my appointment time (should have been finished), I was told the computers were down and they didn't know I had an appt. I couldn't wait any longer because I had a sitter at my house, and wasn't willing to reschedule, but for my 'trouble', they offered me 10% off my NEXT visit!!! Seriously, you really think I'm coming back, for a whopping 10% off?!?!?! Don't waste your money, go to Dreamweaver (may not be the most beautiful spa in town, but the treat you like ROYALTY and are professional, prompt, and sweet)!! more

A group of co-workers and I visited the spa for a day of pampering and were very disappointed. Point blank it sucked. I had been here a few years ago and had a wonderful experience, but something has definately changed. The service was rushed, they were not able to give us all the services scheduled, they cut my facial short and rushed through the process. It was more of a good face washing than a facial. I have been to many spa's in fact our group goes every three months and I have never been somewhere where they continually turn the water on/off during the facial. I thought maybe she was back there doing dishes. Although two of our ladies had spent over $150 dollars because they got a retreat package they did not get a robe, they sat around in their street clothes, how relaxing is that. It was disaster I will not be back. more

Phillipes is the first place people recommend when talking about a Day Spa in Indy. Perhaps as it was one of the first...but in my opinion, it is also a bit pricey. They offer spa and cosmetics in the lobby for sale, which is fun to look at. You will get good service and definitely be pampered, but I think you can find the same services at a more reasonable cost if you look around. more

Philipes is a very nice, upscale spa. The staff treats you great and will try to make sure that your visit is relaxing. They are pretty pricey though so save that quick pedicure for a cheaper place. I would recommend this place for facials and massages. They also sell makeup and bath items in the lobby. more
